PET CT Scans and what feels like 'interminable' GCA
Hi All I have had GCA for about three and a half years now and it is getting incredibly 'boring' in terms of even wanting to write about it. But for those who may be as FED UP with this intractable disease as I have been lately might think a wee 'blah' here is acceptable. I tried recently here in OZ

It is with great pleasure that I announce I am finally in remission! After 4 years dealing with PMR I am back and a better version of me! I want to thank everyone in this forum who supported me, answered questions and calmed my nerves. I was a frightened, very sick women when I joined this group.

Newbie post - unexplained prediabetes.
For over two years I have had prediabetic HbA1c test results, creeping upwards from 43mmol/mol in a routine test in May 2018 to 47 at the last test (just before lockdown in March). 48 will indicate diabetes. After the first test result I bought a blood glucose monitor and, whilst, thoroughly researching

Glucose tolerance Test
Hi everyone, I have a glucose tolerance test this month. The midwife informed me that I have to put 17 glucose tablet's in a cup and drink. Was just a bit worried if it would be too much of sugar and would it harm the baby. Would be comforting to know about your experiences. Thank you all
