Mirena coil and double desogestrel. Is it too much?
Short version - I currently have the coil in and my dr has just told me to double my
desogestrel
. Firstly, I’m worried about the safety of this? Secondly I really don’t feel I’m coping with the hormone overload. Has anybody else had this treatment before? Is it sustainable? Will it get better?!

Pain over 12 weeks after op
I’ve not had pains like it before so I don’t know if it’s related to hormones (I’m on
desogestrel
and don’t have periods on it).

Does endo cause daily pain even when on desogestrel
I've been on
desogestrel
pill since November and have no periods but yet have this daily pelvic pain. More specifically does anyone else get more pain in the lower right side of pelvis? Sometimes I have no pain until late afternoon/ evening

Private Surgery worth it?
I'm currently taking
desogestrel
and it's been really helpful at managing my pain so I have been fine with the wait for surgery, however, I have updated my family who are really concerned and my parents have offered to pay for the surgery privately so it can be done sooner.

Progesterone pill for Endometriosis
Long story short, I was put on the progesterone only pill named
Desogestrel
as I have had bad experiences/side effects with the combined pill in the past.

Provera for 1 week only
Hi Everyone, I started heavily bleeding on
Desogestrel
after 4 months so I asked to try Provera. The Dr would only give me a weeks worth, enough to try and stop the bleeding for my smear test next week.

Double desogestrel pill
Has anyone else been told to take two pills a day? My gynaecologist told me to try it over a month ago to try and reduce bleeding and pain. My pain has reduced but the bleeding hasn't. Has anyone else had this experience?

Mini pill causes acid reflux/gastritis?
I've been on the progesterone only mini pill (
desogestrel
) for 18 months now to help with endometriosis pains before I have surgery (hopefully early next year). 2 months after taking it, I noticed I was getting recurring acid reflux, lots of burping, and a bloated gurgling stomach so went to the GP and

Desogestrel
I’ve been on the mini pill since January now, I was on Lovima which is
desogestrel
and then switched to desorex (I believe they’re the same pill just different names) I’ve had two heavy periods since being on it, and constant spotting/bleeding.

Advice on treatment
I have been taking
Desogestrel
, 2 pills a day for just over 3 months. I have had constant bleeding but no pain for most of this time. 2 weeks ago the bleeding stopped for a week but now its back. Its not as bad but the night pain is also back.

Endo, Mini pill and symptoms!!
I have been taking the mini pill (
desogestrel
) for 3/4 years now, it stops my periods completely and worked wonders at the start but for the past 18 months, I am experiencing symptoms around the time that (I think) my period would be due including pelvic, lower back and groin pain, acid reflux, rectal

Advice on medication
Hi Everyone, I've been offered medication as an alternative to the mini pill as I've tried Noriday which caused floods, and
Desogestrel
makes me bleed constantly. Norethisterone and Provera have been mentioned but I don't know which one to go on.
