Symptoms we shouldn't ignore
I've been put on
Desogestrel
which I seem to get on with and seems to be helping to manage it. However, I do wonder which symptoms are 'normal' and which may be an indicator of something more serious and should not be ignored?

Has anyone used Feanolla (desogestrel) progesterone only pill for endo pain?
Hi all, I've recently been prescribed Feanolla to treat painful periods caused by endometrial cysts on my ovaries. Wondered if anyone has used it and how you found it? It seems to increase low moods and anxiety which puts me off but is supposed to be good at treating pain and preventing endometriosis

Decapeptyl injections but not endo?
I was on the mini pill,
Desogestrel
but this appeared to stop working recently and the gyn doctor recommended I go back on Decapeptyl injections which I've been on once before.

Awaiting diagnosis- my story
They changed my norethistrone to
desogestrel
and the pain only got worse. Then came my first gynae referral. It was this gynaecologists first day on the job and I was her first patient. She was flustered and more than a little condescending.

Which Mini Pill to try next?
I know various mini pills have a different active ingredient so maybe looking for advice from someone who has tried
desogestrel
but then moved to a different form of hormone which has helped. Thank you!

New Versions of Birth Control Pills May Double Blood Clot Risk
Scientists found that the women in this group who took combined birth control pills with newer progesterone types (including
desogestrel
, gestodene, drospirenone and cyproterone) were about twice as likely to develop blood clots than those who took older contraceptive combos (containing drugs like norgestimate

Progesterone pill and side effects
I started taking Desopop (
desogestrel
, like cerazette I think) three months ago to help with symptoms of adenomyosis and fibroids (mainly pain and heavy clotting). The first month was ok except for spotting but then I had two very heavy bleeds and have not really stopped since.

desogestrel
In them. My question here is are they any different to what I was taking before?
