What are my options?
I'm currently on
Depo
-
Provera
and don't have any periods at all. My first 2 children were born naturally, but my younger 3 were all Caesarean section (premature, but waters had broken and had various complications which meant caesarean was necessary).

DepoProvera compatible with APS?
I just began DepoProvera injections to prevent ovulation due to serious bleeding after a normal ovulation. Is anyone else out there using this form of birth control and have you had any problems with it?

I think I am paying the price for the night out last night!
Went to a friend's 60th birthday party last night and was dancing the night away until midnight - not late by most people's standards I suppose, but late for me! Was beginning to have aches in arms and legs by the end and woke with various joint pains this morning! The pains were coming back anyway -

Steroid injection doesn't seem to have kicked in!
Hi, I got a Depo-Medrone injection over a week ago but it doesn't seem to have kicked in. Still in a lot of pain. I am on Methtrexate 17.5 mg. Saw the rheumy nurse last week who gave me the injection and said that the rheumatologist should review my medicines. My appointment with the rheumatologist

Does anyone have Autoimmune Hepatitis in addition to RA?
I have had to come off Mxt due to rising liver enzymes, but it looks like that might be a red herring. My liver enzymes were only slightly raised until 7 weeks after stopping the Mxt when they went through the roof! The docs were insisting that the drug was responsible, but they are now querying AIH

Could I have any experiences of treating endo with Depo-Provera please?
She has suggested I try
Depo
provera
instead. I am due my 3rd prostap injection next week so need to make the decision by then. Any experiences of
depo
provera
would be appreciated so I can make a decision. Thanks.

Depo medrone (or medrol?) injection
Hello, can anyone tell me how long it could take for this to kick in (had it in my backside) because I understood from the rheumy nurse that it is usually about 24 hours. I am so glad thay gave me one (my first ever) but am desperate to feel relief. Thanks, Julie.

Just when you think things are on the up ...

Follow up to initial hospital appointment
Had a good meeting with the Rheumatologist at hospital on Tuesday - although only saw her for a few minutes - most of my examination was carried out by a Rheumatology Physio! Have been advised to have a one off injection of Depo-Medrone to hopefully stop the RA from spreading. I have now booked this

“I’ve got this terrible cold coming on He grabs and devours Kicks me in the showers” The Headmaster Ritual – The Smiths
The first treatment on the list was to try an injection called
Depo
Provera
, this turned out to be awful, it took a lot of the pain away but in its place left the worst mood swings known to mankind and my tics had become much more intense.
