History: I was called "possibly infertile" at 17, had my first miscarriage at 18, started
depo
provera
once engaged and had a full term pregnancy at 19. I had a 2nd pregnancy right after, babies 17 months apart, also a depo baby.

How long did it take you to return to normal after being on the depo provera injection?
Hi all, I have severe endometriosis and after almost back to back surgeries and after Zoladex was put on the
depo
provera
injection. I think all in all I was on it for 18 months or just over.

Anyone thought of coming off Depo Provera because of their weight gain?
I have been on
Depo
Provera
for 9 months now and have put on about 2 stone in weight and have gone from an 8-10 to 12-14 in clothes! I know this injection fools your body into thinking it's pregnant but my tummy now looks as though it is; by about 5 months! I am so fed up!

I don't know what to do next!
And also, I don't really want the Mirena coil, so I'm looking into the

Dazed and confused! Bit of a long one, sorry!
When I made it absolutely clear I wasn't going to walk away without any other form of advise or assistance I was offered the
Depo
Provera
injection as my GP believed my body could do with a rest... brilliant, a sort of solution!

Coil
I was on the
depo
provera
for 10 years (18 - 28) in order to help control my systems of Endometriosis. My doctor took me off of it at the beginning of this year, as my bone density was very low and suggested that I have the coil inserted.

Anyone having the Depo-Provera injection and feel like they are going mad?
I have been on the

Provera
injection for a month now and I feel so irritable and cross most of the time. Before this treatment I was told that I had the patience of a saint but now I find everybody and everything annoying! I know that nobody at home likes the 'new me' very much.

Are there any teenagers using this site who have had a laparoscopy or waiting for one?
My 15 year old daughter has been suffering with the symptoms of endometriosis for a year & a half now.She has tried the pill and provera & had to stop because she got really bad side effects. The consultant then wanted to put her on the injections which cause artificial menopause. I refused she is too
