Groin pain flare = inflammatory arthritis?
I'm currently diagnosed with UCTD plus possible fibromyalgia. In the last six weeks I've had two episodes of a new 'crisis' - groin pain that I'm guessing is coming from the hip joint. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I have had mild pain in both hips (really the grease of my groin, on both sides

Fertility treatment and APS
Hi, does anyone know the effects of fertility drugs and APS? We're thinking of trying for another baby. I have PCOS as well and am mostly anovulatory. We did hormone therapy with my first two pregnancies and started with my third but ended up with a surprise at the beginning of treatment. We're going

Mood has taken a downwards spiral tonight.
In that waiting game again. Fully recovered from my laprascopy - ovarian drilling but still got to wait until the 30th of june before I can have a lovely appointment with my legs spread on some stirrups! π haha. Get a prescription, start provera, wait again, and start injections for my next try of ovulation

Depo Provera
I had my meds changed from Prostap due to high BP and a locking trigger finger. Doc recommended trying Depo. I had sone lumpiness in armpit occasionally before, but now seems more prominent regular. (It is not constant) - This happens on / off. My stomach swells randomly too and aches where I had umbilical

RECURRING PMR SYMPTOMS OR ANOTHER CONDITION?
I began weekly depo-medrol injections for PMR on August 25, 2016, and have been tapering since November 15. Two weeks ago my daily dose dropped to an estimated 2.0 mg and I experienced 4 consecutive days with stiffness in my hands and mild-moderate shoulder pain. When I went back up to 2.5 mg, the symptoms

Provera or Cerezette as alternative to mirena- which to go for?
Hello ladies Hope you are all doing well and pain free x x x I've recently come off the coil due to pelvic pain from it as an object. Consultant has suggested either Provera or Cerezette as alternative modes of delivery but they are different drugs too. Which are you taking, what delivery method (oral

Prostap / Medroxyprogesterone (Depo Provera)
For 2.5 years I was given Prostap after a failed hysterectomy due to a frozen pelvis, then 18 months later endo twisted my bowel and blocked it, resulting in a rescetion. I was then put under another gynae, as my original one discharged me. For the time I was on Prostap, with add back, I would have occasional

Depo provera and mood swings
I've been on depo for a bit over a year and only now have I noticed I get extreme bipolar-like mood swings right before I'm due for my next shot (I'm talking less than a week before my next depo shot). I'll go from depressed to okay to happy to angry and finally uncontrollable crying. Then I'm back to

Newbie to the site
Good evening Hope you'very enjoyed your bank holiday weekend π I stumbled across this forum as I'm sat next to my hubby on the sofa, mulling over what may or may not lie ahead of us. I find it refreshing the kind of support I've so longed for just at my fingertips, why now have I only found it?! Anyway

Does anyone have any advice?
Hi all, I was put on Provera to start off my first ivf cycle, I took this for 10 days. Finished this on Wednesday last week. I presumed (not been explained!!) that this was to make me have a bleed before my scan which is booked in for this Wednesday. Of course, this hasn't happened as yet. Anyone know

Steroid induced Shingles?
Hi everyone, I'm new here and am wondering if anyone else has experienced Shingles as a result of Steroids? I was diagnosed about 18 months ago with seropositive RA. I take MTX and Hydroxychloroquine. I had an initial Depo-Medrone jab to help until the drugs kicked in. All was well until I had a bad

PCOS trouble? Advice please!
I got diagnosed with PCOS when I was 17; I was told my hormone levels were not too much of a problem but I had an ultrasound which said I had cysts on my ovaries. On average I have four periods a year ranging from 2 to 23 days at a time. I get such horrible pains in my ovaries where it feels like they're

Feeling frustrated and lost
Hi, I have had surgery and ablation for Endometriosis, and also have fibroids both inside and outside uterus. Have managed to control everything as much as possible on my own, but recently was put on Cerazette to medically manage things - worst thing I ever did. I managed ten weeks on it and had to

Anyone else feel like they're going mad?
There is a limited knowledge about hormones and how imbalances might either be causing Endo or are caused by Endo, but does anyone else suffer extreme irritability - one minute feeling happy and the next wanting to pull your hair out? For me this often coincides with my time of ovulation and pelvic

Finally...the start of our journey!
Finally we have the go ahead to start our treatment. Doctors needed an internal scan to be done to finalise all prior investigations. Scan done on Friday- everything perfectly fine inside. No obvious explanation for infertility and turns out my PCOS diagnosis was also incorrect!! π€ So as happy as
