Update
I think myself lucky to have an attentive rheumi team. I can ring and leave a message for the specialist nurses / consult or email them (handy if I've got significant changes I can photo), and within 3 working days they get back with feedback. On this occasion they are recommending depo-medrone 120mg

Likely GCA but not yet diagnosed and scared to death!
Firstly, I want to say this is a wonderful and valuable forum. Although this is my first post, I think I've already read just about every post in your archives. My autoimmune history is long and too involved to explain but two years ago, I developed dramatic new symptoms which presented like PMR/GCA

PCOD
I was recently diagnosed with PCOD. I did not find this out until my husband and I had been trying to conceive for 6 months and were unsuccessful. My periods were very irregular and occurring only every 3 months as well as other symptoms including excessive chin hair, acne, and a high testosterone level

Hi. But dilemma. Am 44. Have endo AND adenomyosis. Surgeon trying to persuade me to have MIRENA or Provera (progesterone only pill but this isn't a contraceptive ). Very blessed to have 1 child (5 year old girl). Unlikely I can have more due to adenomyosis but feel too old now to have another anyway

Three months later the next jab is done at my GP Surgery. My last jab was booked at my surgery for 12 July. Fine. Then I received

Pain while on Depo Provera
I have been on the
Depo
Provera
injection for just over a year. After some perseverance, I thought it's the best thing I've had. However for the past 2 weeks I have had that dull endo pain, all in the same places where my pain was coming from prior to my lap in 2012.

Might work right one day!
Evening ladies, what a weekend! Been on ovulation induction with gonal F for 20 days with regular scans. On Thursday my scan showed I had one follicle growing (finally!) Having undergone ovarian drilling due to over responding and developing OHSS on the past three attempts. Anyhow, I was booked in for

Hi fellow warriors 🤗
Hi All, I have just joined this group after my lovely consultant recommended it to me. I don't want to bore you all with my story but I'll breifly go over it. I have suffered from heavy painful periods for as long as I can remember, since they started in fact, aged 11. I was first diagnosed with endometriosis
