Test Results - How bad is it?
Hi all, I went to the GP as I keep getting sharp pains in my right abdomen (upper quadrant) and multiple bruises appearing beneath my ribcage area, mostly on the right side but sometimes left. The doctor ordered a whole bunch of tests, including thyroid. My results came back abnormal for thyroid. Everything

Help with Cortisol test
Hello all, I had a saliva cortisol test done last week. Ive got the results back but with no comments from the clinic. They look okay/normal to me? Apart from the 3rd one? I was expecting them to be low as I thought I was suffering from adrenal fatigue. Could anyone advise me on these levels?

Botox and autoimmune illness
Hi all I was always under the impression that Botox is something to be avoided with autoimmune illnesses such as Hashi’s. However my hygienist suggested it to help with my jaw clenching at night, I said I didn’t think I can because of my illness however she says her mum and sister both have hashi’s

Urolithin A (UA) – To anybody taking, what’s your experience?
Sometimes, I feel gullible for the fleeing by an over-priced, over-hyped supplement. As I understand, UA is produced by bacteria in your gut and without the right bacteria, your gut can’t produce from food. And, maybe the product is more concentrated than what’s produced by bacteria. AI Says: “Urolithin

shrinking lung syndrome
Has anyone else been diagnosed with a rare condition called shrinking lung syndrome. It’s so rare, approximately only 0.5-1.1 % people with Lupus get it. I’m real scared as at time I feel like I’m slowly suffocating! Still getting more tests done to see if diaphragm isn’t partially paralyzed. Did you

Just Asking For Advice/ Opinions.
I'm in the process of possibly being investigated for APS. MyGP is seeking advice and guidance from haematology as she seems to think the blood tests needed arent available in primary care. Basically I had early severe pre eclampsia in my first pregnancy in 1991. I was very unwell and sadly my son died

T3 affecting sex hormones
Hi, I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid earlier this year. I am currently taking 25mg T4 (50mg caused significant bloating) and 30mg T3 as split doses. I'm on a high dose of adrenal support as my Cortisol & DHEA were shown to be very low in a Dutch test earlier this year. Since starting T3

Is there a alternative to levothyroxine?
I am Wondering if I can treat my underactive thyroid naturally as I really do not get on with levothyroxine. I am only on 37.5mg a day as anything higher and I get so many nasty side effects. My thyroid was at 32 then 26 then dropped to 12 but now it has gone back up to 25.9. I have attached my results

DLA Application
I now have COPD and

disease
, and last September I had a fall which led me to require a shoulder replacement. When I got my COPD my overall condition worsened, but I was scared to tell the DLA people, in case they stopped the little benefit that I am given.

Bad news: prostate cancers doubling by 2040
Bad news on one side, for all the guys that will join the damn club (and the trends say their age is lowering as well....I am an example actually!). On the other side we can hope for an increase of effort to solve the problem, at least for prostate, breast, lung and colorectal cancers, which are quite

Expanded label sought for 177Lu-PSMA-617 in prostate cancer: about time
I have already done the taxane part and I would like to see how 177Lu performs as first line...but this is also interesting, it seems more effective than a change in ARPI in castration resistant setting "Data also showed that a PSA decline of at least 50% was more than 2.5 times more frequent with 177Lu-PSMA

Spirulina and Chlorella
Hi, i was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis 5 years ago and I'm on methotrexate and hydroxycloroquine. I'm was hoping to start taking spirulina and chlorella as they have so many health benefits but I not sure of any drug interactions. I've tried Google but I'm getting conflicting advice, some say
