I have several autoimmune diseases including Sjogrens, Lupus, Vasculitis, Chronic Fatigue & Fibromyalgia. Several years ago I had my neck fused. I also had an MRI of my neck & spine last year. hi all, Firstly I know we are not drs here. I just need some guidance from your own knowledge and experiences. I’ve got issues with; C4/C5 - building disc into sac but not cord C5/C6 - bone protruding into sac not cord C6/C7 - building disc into sac but not cord T4 - crumbled Vertabrae L5

As a back story, I do have degenerative disc disease, so my lower back is fused from L4-L5 and C5-6-7, plus bulging discs and foraminal stenosis with a Spinal Cord Stimulator that works fairly well. Any idea what can be causing the leg stiffness and why my leg muscles hurt?

Eg - RA with secondary Sjögrens, Fibromyalgia, FND, severely degenerative disc disease with kyphosis/ rotational scoliosis, ME/CFS. I’ve just been referred again (7th time) by an Rheumatologist (my old one just left) and now I don’t think I’m physically able to do it again.

I was also diagnosed with DDD (degenerative disc disease). My neurologist told me.i might be in a wheelchair within the next 4-5 years.

I've been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease. I've identified that one day of my full-time job, exacerbates and may accelerate the condition as it demands a lot more physical activity.

I have been through the wringer with chronic back pain due to degenerative disc disease since 1989. I try not to let my pain define me, though. My new pain specialist recommended having a spinal cord stimulation device implanted.

Also had MRI to my spine which identified sacroiliitis and degenerative disc disease. I started Naproxen which didn't help and my doctor insisted I stop them and give in to taking Pregabalin which Is the only medication I now take to treat not only my overall body pain but my spine issues also.

Hello I have 2 types of pain - Mechanical pain from degenerative disc disease and nerve pain from trapped nerves.

- The L4-5 level demonstrates moderate degenerative disc disease, disc bulge, endplate spurs, arthropathy of the facet joints, mild bilaterial foraminal stenosis, central zone disc protusion, mild bilaterial recess stenosis and no central stenosis.

I also have degenerative disc disease in my lower back which just makes the symptoms that much worse when my back flares up.

In recent months I am have been being supported to come off PREGABALIN, bloody hard when you also have CPTSD, and degenerative disc disease. The drug is not easy to come off. But I am getting there thankfully.

They diagnosed me with degenerative disc disease and osteoporosis. In May of 2019 I had a Lamondectomy, and in 2020 I had a discectomy. In November, 2023 I had a tubular decompressioin. This comming Fall I will be having a spinal fusion.

I do admit that most of my pain is due to severe degenerative disc disease with rotational scoliosis. I did get the impression that she was trying to dump me off Rheumatology and to a Pain Clinic. If so, this will be my 7th referral into the Pain Management system.

I’ve developed pain in my toes, feet, knees and hips (especially left sided) I have lower back degenerative disc disease, endometriosis and now upper spinal pain and arm pain and limited range of movement. My fingers even hurt now.
