Iron supplements?
Recently had some blood taken, and it showed that my ferritin and B12 was 'normal' but it's in the low end of normal. Ferritin 45 ug/L (15-300) Folate is 20. 7 ug/ L (2-20 ug/L) B12 259 ng/l (130- 900) I've been suffering with frequent and heavy periods for years which I think it causing the lower ferritin

DBS Surgery
Tomorrow is my day! The laundry is done, floors are swept, my clients are taken care of until later next week, and my daughter will be here from out of town this afternoon. I am at peace. No regrets about anything. Merry Christmas songs and the William Tell Overture are running through my mind!

Anaemia and iron deficiencies
Hello everyone. Well, after a couple of years of feeling awful and depressed I have been diagnosed with anaemia. The terrible thing about it is just how it has affected everything about my life. I mean everything. I often want to just not wake up in the morning rather than face the whole day. Anyone

Letters to doctor which led to treatment - feel free to copy any parts
Hi all, I said on another post (https://healthunlocked.com/pasoc/posts/136700379/stunned-in-a-good-way) that I'd post the contents of the letter I'd sent my GP when someone asked, just in case it was of any use to anyone else to use bits of. Certainly, a few months ago when I was much more ill I wouldn't

Chromium Picolinate with Levothyroxine
I have read that taking Chromium Picolinate is good for lowering Bloody Sugar and to help with sugar cravings. I take levothyroxine of 175mcs at night and have been hypothyroid for over 20 odd years. I was just about to pop my first pill (as such) and someone said that I shouldn't take them with hypothyroidism
