Recently had some blood taken, and it showed that my ferritin and B12 was 'normal' but it's in the low end of normal.
Ferritin 45 ug/L (15-300)
Folate is 20. 7 ug/ L (2-20 ug/L)
B12 259 ng/l (130- 900)
I've been suffering with frequent and heavy periods for years which I think it causing the lower ferritin.
What levels of iron and B12 should I take?
I've been taking 10 µg B12 daily.
Thanks

Lily82,
I would supplement 210mg Ferrous Fumarate with 1,000mg vitamin C to raise ferritin/iron. It is usually low iron which causes heavy periods.
I would take 1,000mcg methylcobalamin to raise B12. When level is >500 you can reduce dose to alternate days or 3-4 times a week.
Folate is good.

Can you buy that yourself or is it only on prescription?

Heavy periods are classic sign of being hypothyroid
Post you recent Thyroid test results and members can advise
Vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 all need to be at good levels for thyroid hormones to work
