Hanging in there!
Thanks for your advice - however it would not be a wise move to stop any medication and go alternative, when you have good reasons for being on main stream meds. Alternative meds such as St Johns Wort is very effective after a few mths use - for depression however it does interact poorly with many meds

Scream
I could scream and cry with the pain in in at the moment it's in my shoulders arms and all over my back. I've been taking ibuprofen and cocodomol but these are not helping, I also take duloxetine for fibro pain. My shoulder pain is a separate problem from fibro and I've had lots of operations on them

Pregabalin or duloxetine for burning pain
Hi, I was offered a choice - Pregabalin or Duloxetine for pressure allodynia - burning pain Has anyone had a good experience ( maximum help and minimum side effects if that's even possible !) with either of them for burning pain? I tried Nortriptyline for 6 months but it didn't help much and I had sinus

Duloxetine
Anyone take this drug? I started 30mg last night before bed and I’m completely out of it today. My pupils are huge as if I’m on ecstasy, totally buzzed, nauseous and sore headaches. Completely lost my appetite too.

Many thanks to this invaluable community! We (pwp & caregiver) have gained much insight from the folks here over the last few years, especially the courage to experiment with different approaches. Otherwise, our pwp would likely still be highly overmedicated, under the advice of his neurologist. He would
