Walking long walks
It was sunny but very breezy today. So far sleeping with no breakthroughs, but my sugar carb consumption has been shall we say over the top. Oy! Let's see how tonight goes because I had to take an extra pepcid ac. The corgis have been running and herding each other on the beach and they sleep and sleep

Floradix
Hi, I have an interactive thyroid and I have been taken thyroxine for year and half. I have now been told that my iron levels are low but not anemic but need to start taking tablets. Does anyone know if floradix is ok to use as I know that you shouldn't take iron tablets with thyroxine as the table absorbs

MMA and Homocysteine testing B12 whilst on injections...
I am 30 weeks pregnant. I am on monthly B12 injections, vitamin D pills and have had two iron infusions in the last couple of months. However, my most recent blood work (3 weeks ago) came back still showing anemia (and I am feeling pretty grotty too): Haemaglobin: 118 (range 120-150) RBC Count: 3.74

Anemia Profile: Megaloblastic
Anything unusual here? See link (https://healthunlocked.com/pasoc/posts/135301103/very-confused) for background, but as a quick summary, my B12 serum is now good after taking sublingual supplements for the last several months (>2000). Yet I am still having low B12 symptoms, particularly feeling cold

Follow up from my GP appointment
Hi all, just an update from my GP appointment yesterday. Well as expected he was quite insistent after looking at my blood test results from St Thomas' that I don't have a B12 deficiency, I asked him to explain how 187ng/L is normal but 186ng/L is deficient! and he couldn't. I took my son with me for

My b12 injections were changed to cobalamin h 12 weeks ago but I have a reaction to them. My doctor tried to print a prescription for neo cytamen but his computer said he could no longer issue this on NHS. Does anyone know why? I live in Scotland.

Borderline high globulin
Morning all In my most recent blood test, my globulin came back as 31.2 (normal range 25 - 32). The albumin was 41, making an A/G ratio of 1.3, which also appears to be normal. Although it seems my lab uses different ranges to most I've found on the internet (most labs seem to have the upper value of

For All Those With High Ferritin (and possibly low iron)
http://pubs.rsc.org/en/content/articlehtml/2014/mt/c3mt00347g If I'm reading this correctly, serum ferritin is a benign substance in our bodies, as long as it's bound to iron molecules. Without iron it is hypothesized that it becomes toxic. I guess doctors see this in chronic disease states. I know

Low iron
Hi all, I was diagnosed with PA about 8 months ago. I'm having injections but feel no better and now have very wiered feeling in my head and regular headaches. My iron level is now very low at 14 although that was over 3 months ago and dr thinks it will be much lower now. He thinks I might have some

Tiromel problems?
Good morning. Has anyone found Tiromel by Abdi Ibrahim to be weak lately? I opened a new batch this week and had to double my dose. I was out shopping and suddenly felt tired. I had felt tired for a few days but had attributed it to the usual suspects, low iron, low cortisol, low vit b12. And sent for
