Lupus CTD AND URETHRAL/ bladder problems??
I have just returned from a
cystoscopy
today ( camera up urethra into bladder to see what's wrong ) The diagnosis was urethral stricture or narrowing of urethra . I have to go back for a procedure to widen my urethra - urethral calibration they call it now ( it used to be urethral dilatation !)

I met with one of the consultants at this clinic and consented for a laparoscopy and
cystoscopy
and was told that he would do this.

Need help urgently :(
I have a
cystoscopy
scheduled for 2 weeks time but I'm scared this is going to make things worse and also I have a strong feeling they won't find anything because this seems to be a problem with my nerves and muscles.

Surgery With A/F
Hi, After attending my local hospital Urology Clinic and having a few tests and a

Bladder pain and suspected endo
They did a
cystoscopy
which found nothing. Also treated me for possible IC with bladder instillations which have not helped. I am trying to get referred to gynaecology and I want to have a lap to find out if this is endo causing my pain.

Cyst and pain
Iv seen a new gynaecologist privately and I'm waiting for a laparoscopy with a
cystoscopy
at the same time to remove some disease. He has advised I take 2 cerelle pills a day, which iv been doing. However, it says on the leaflet not to take if you have/have had ovarian cysts?

Cautiously optimistic.
Now in between my 2nd and 3rd BCG treatments, and recently had another
cystoscopy
examination. No visual signs of my unwelcome bladder lodger, and significantly no cancerous cells detected in lab samples from my bladder washes.

Would like Kidney advice please?
It happened on two occasions, and I had a
cystoscopy
and ultrasound of my kidneys. One kidney was a little larger than the other but otherwise nothing to be seen. The radiographer said he couldn't tell me how my kidneys were working, but that there were no tumours etc. The
cystoscopy
was clear.

Thoughts?
My
cystoscopy
came back clear (apart from moderate chronic inflammation) so apparently I don't have endo inside my bladder. Is it normal to still be in so much pain 4 months out from surgery? Appreciate your thoughts, ladies. Xx j

Flank/kidney pain before and during period
Also having a
cystoscopy
at the same time due to long term bladder problems (urgency, frequent urination and recurrent uti's) I seem to have 7 average days a month where I feel ok but the other 3 weeks I feel dreadful, really lethargic and in pain.

NOACs affected by urinary infections?
The
cystoscopy
caused a re-run of the infection with all of the ill-effects particularly confusion and lethargy.

Hi, I have endometriosis on the outer part of my bladder that couldn't be removed (it was minimal) I have seen a urologist who has advised a

Cancelled
Well,
cystoscopy
planned for tomorrow has been cancelled due to lack of beds-despite fact it was only supposed to be day surgery, apparently had to have bed available in case of complications. Don't know whether to be disappointed or relieved! X

wholistic approach
Bright red twice a week apart. went to family dr.and he sent me to uriological clinic where I had
cystoscopy
and then surgery to remove a polyp floating in front of the bladder opening. I felt this necessary but not the following recommendations to start the chemo and drugs.

Update on my Bladder Cancer
My last
cystoscopy
in June was uneventful. My doctors have no clue how this remotely happened. There was no reason for CTU to be performed cause I was not feeling bad. I was feeling fine until last treatment 5 weeks ago. Every thing has changed since that time.
