Pain clinic
On my third lap last week my gynae decided to carry out another
cystoscopy
to see how the IC was. The good news was that there was no endo seen, adenomyosis looked better (on long term zoladex) but the IC was one of the worst cases she had ever seen.

Peritoneal excision...
I'm also having a
cystoscopy
as it may be on my bladder. I'm due to have an epidural infusion for pain relief afterwards (I've had lots of difficulty with the ward I'm being admitted to with pain relief) has anyone else also had one? Wishing you all a comfortable day x

Second surgery in 12 weeks for severe endo. Advice needed?
I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo during a laparoscopy and
cystoscopy
in April. Consultant referred me to anothef consultant who specialises in bladder endo. In meantime I started with Prostap injections but I feel terrible. Pain, fatique and a feeling if being overwhelmed by everything .

Pradaxa and cystoscopy
Can anybody tell me if you have to stop taking Pradaxa before having a
cystoscopy
. They mention about warfarin in but not pradaxa. I have tried to speak to the urology department but not had any reply yet.

I then went through with a bladder
cystoscopy

Gynae appt cont...
I've been under a gynae and urologist in my local hosp since jan and after lap and
cystoscopy
they found I have endo between my uterus and bladder - and it's infiltrating the bladder wall. Hence the blood in my urine and horrendous pain.

Are there any ladies out there with uretheral strictures?
I'm waiting for a
cystoscopy
to investigate further and a dilation which I believe is unfortunately a temporary relief.

Hi I am new on here and have been looking for answers. Your opinions may help me!
I once described my symptoms to a friend and she said it sounds like Endo, but I didn't give it another thought, But after a US, a CT, a colonoscopy, numerous blood tests and a
Cystoscopy
(bladder) and all coming back clear. I turned to looking at this.

Lupus nephritis?
Cystoscopy
and CT scan clear. Thrombotologist thinks may be a microscopic breakdown of kidneys caused by SLE and recommends a referral to nephrologist. Possible kidney biopsy on cards according to her.

Cystoscopy and CT kidney scan booked. What to expect?
I am just starting my 3rd week long course of antibiotics and today was informed of a date for a
cystoscopy
to see what the cause of the problem is. GP is wanting to know because of the care that needs to be taken of our kidneys with SLE.

Hospital tests results
It's only because of a kind nurse and me being pushy that I am now awaiting a
cystoscopy
to investigate the problem. I know levels of iron etc should be up at the top of range so I want to know my results. My last folic acid test was 4, range 5-?

Which self testing machine?
Had a
cystoscopy
last week - bladder is fine. Having a CT scan on my kidney next week. They say it is not the warfarin as I have had it on warfarin and off. They also reckon it is not part of the APS.
