My last post only posted half of what I'd written, so here's the rest...
I've been under a gynae and urologist in my local hosp since jan and after lap and cystoscopy they found I have endo between my uterus and bladder - and it's infiltrating the bladder wall. Hence the blood in my urine and horrendous pain. Other than that everything else looked ok, and all blood test normal as well as HSG. Semen normal too. So I feel confused as to why we haven't conceived in a year?!
So at the moment I've been referred to another hosp to a new urology cons that has experience in bladder endo. He was amazing when I saw him and felt confident that he could remove the endo. However he wants me to see another gynae cons to have their input too. My concern is that they'll make me try 'temporary menopause' first before they operate. I'm so against this and having done a lot of research into my type of endo, hormone treatments are pretty much useless, and excision surgery is the best option. I'm just so scared that they'll make me do hormones first! I'm in the medical profession so I understand that excision surgery would be a big op. Any advice would be amazing. Thanks x
