Some advice please

Hi, I have been suffering from Endo since 2009. I have had many operation, 1) bowel reconstruction due to Endo inside my bowels. 2) keyhole surgery to remove Endo on my overies. 3) partial hystercretomy. 4) cystoscopy due to cystitis and lumps inside my bladder. I also suffer from IBS.

I'm in pain all the time, I'm coming to the point where I'm getting scared to eat anything. I'm on the Endo diet, ibs diet. I feel weak, very, very tired, sometimes dizzy, lack of energy. I have been taking antibiotics since my last operation which was in June this year. I keep getting bladder infection, as soon as I have finished my course of antibiotics 1-2 days later the infection and pains come back even more painful.

Is anyone else suffering from this. Can Endo be causing the cystitis to keep coming back? I can't seem to get a break from these pains. I am also losing interest in food due to pain. I feel so lost I don't know what to do, what to eat that won't cause me pain. This is making me depressed.

I've had blood test done on Monday, I'm awaiting test results. I think i might be lacking in something. I feel like running away from myself, leave my body at home and take my mind on holiday somewhere.

I'm so fed up of taking antibiotics, they do help a lot but once I have finished them I'm back to square one.

I would like to know if anyone has the same problem like me and how they manage it on a daily basis?

Thanks xxx

Sweety.

Sounds awful, poor you xx I understand what you mean about not knowing what to eat that won't set off any symptoms, I'm the same. I too am trying to stick to the endo diet, when my stomach pains are bad I tend to have a smoothie for bfast and lunch. My favourite is made with almond milk, a banana, a large desert spoon each of raw cacao powder and raw hemp protein powder. It fills me up, stops the bloat and is full of magnesium which is good for cramps amongst other good nutrients. Just whizz it up in a blender it's like a good got you chocolate banana milkshake. Hope you get answers soon x

Hi, I'm glad I'm not the only one suffering like this. I think I will try and make the smoothie you mentioned. I drink coconut milk, could use that instead of almond milk?

Hi yes I sometimes use coconut milk too. I get the cacao and hemp protein from amazon. If you google deliciously Ella, she has some brilliant recipes all clean eating x
