Would like Kidney advice please?
It happened on two occasions, and I had a
cystoscopy
and ultrasound of my kidneys. One kidney was a little larger than the other but otherwise nothing to be seen. The radiographer said he couldn't tell me how my kidneys were working, but that there were no tumours etc. The
cystoscopy
was clear.

Thoughts?
My
cystoscopy
came back clear (apart from moderate chronic inflammation) so apparently I don't have endo inside my bladder. Is it normal to still be in so much pain 4 months out from surgery? Appreciate your thoughts, ladies. Xx j

Flank/kidney pain before and during period
Also having a
cystoscopy
at the same time due to long term bladder problems (urgency, frequent urination and recurrent uti's) I seem to have 7 average days a month where I feel ok but the other 3 weeks I feel dreadful, really lethargic and in pain.

NOACs affected by urinary infections?
The
cystoscopy
caused a re-run of the infection with all of the ill-effects particularly confusion and lethargy.

Endo inside the bladder/ weakness
Hi, I have endometriosis on the outer part of my bladder that couldn't be removed (it was minimal) I have seen a urologist who has advised a
cystoscopy
as I keep having recurrent urine/kidney infections and pain. Iv also had protein and blood in my pee.

Cancelled
Well,
cystoscopy
planned for tomorrow has been cancelled due to lack of beds-despite fact it was only supposed to be day surgery, apparently had to have bed available in case of complications. Don't know whether to be disappointed or relieved! X

Bright red twice a week apart. went to family dr.and he sent me to uriological clinic where I had
cystoscopy
and then surgery to remove a polyp floating in front of the bladder opening. I felt this necessary but not the following recommendations to start the chemo and drugs.

Update on my Bladder Cancer
My last
cystoscopy
in June was uneventful. My doctors have no clue how this remotely happened. There was no reason for CTU to be performed cause I was not feeling bad. I was feeling fine until last treatment 5 weeks ago. Every thing has changed since that time.

Still all clear
Just had my 3 monthly flexy
cystoscopy
and it still looks good. Now on 6 monthly check-ups. Mitomyacin seems to have worked so far. Keep hopeful fellow sufferers as I found a positive attitude greatly improved your outcome.😀

Catch it early if you can
They did a
cystoscopy
and found a small something. I was really upset as I had a dear friend dying of liver cancer at the time, so my timing couldn't really have been worse. Anyway, they arranged to have a rigid
cystoscopy
to remove it.

Suspected endo due to have lap
Finally had a break through when I went to see a Gynae consultant at QMC in Nottingham who spoke with me for ten minutes and decided he was going to do a laparoscopy,
cystoscopy
and bladder pressure study in the next 6 weeks which I am extremely grateful for.

BCG treatment was a success!
Had my 3rd
Cystoscopy
today following a 6 week course of BCG. Apparently my bladder is in terrific shape and the cancer has not returned since being removed in December. Looks like I will be keeping my bladder after all. I was sure I was going to lose it!

I'm new here - Pudendal Neuralgia?
He performed a metal dilation and rigid
cystoscopy
. Tight meatus was visible in the mid-glans with some palpable underlying fibrosis. For nine years, I dilated my urethra with a 16ch catheter, and by-and-large I was pain-free and happy. The symptoms flared-up again when I was thirty-one.

A littel rant about waiting times.
And that endo of the bladder would show up on
cystoscopy
. However the my endo specialist suspects I have bowel and bladder involvement. Ha. So my timeline for treatment if i hadnt seen endo specialist would have been this: Summer 2015 - symptoms get much worse, back pain, bladder etc. See GP's.

My First TURB by yankeebo
Cystoscopy
revealed a 4 centimeter bladder tumor called a urothelio carcinoma. Last week I had it removed in same day surgery called TURB. I was fearing the worst, but it was a Grade 1 Ta level non invasive tumor. Dr. Estimated it was around 2 years old!
