Had my 3rd Cystoscopy today following a 6 week course of BCG. Apparently my bladder is in terrific shape and the cancer has not returned since being removed in December. Looks like I will be keeping my bladder after all. I was sure I was going to lose it! Good luck to everyone else out there waiting for good news!
BCG treatment was a success! - Fight Bladder Cancer
BCG treatment was a success!
I also had a tumor removed last December but it had spread to the muscle and sent secondaries up to my lungs, Radiotherapy tackled the bladder cancer and has left me with a Cathater since surgery, I am near the end of Chemotherapy which is tackling the lung tumors which I am told is working better than expected, but about 2 months to wait till my next scan results. I have a very strong positive attitude and a deep faith in God which carries me through every day. My dear wife is my main carer who keeps me positive in all she does with me. Praying for you.
So pleased for you,my husbands bladder cancer was cured after a TURBT op in 2009 and a lot of BCG treatments, his last check up in June, everything fine.Unfortunately I've been diagnosed with an invasive bladder cancer,am now having chemotherapy before bladder removal op.Best wishes for the future.
Wow Hidden . How could you be so unlucky to both have bc? That is terrible news. Good luck with your op and please keep us all updated.
Congratulations that's excellent news!
ditto- have had 15 BCG infusions so far- first 6 1 week apart then bladder inspection followed by another 3- all good so far here too!
