Started Interferon
About two weeks ago I put a post on here about my anxiety around changing my treatment plan from Hydroxy to Peg Interferon. I had been sent the vaccine but not given any specific instruction about how to self inject. I appreciated the advice I was given from others who had trodden this path before

I’ve just received my vitamin results. My ferritin is 52, serum vitamin b12 level 462 ng/l, serum folate level 16.5 ng/l (range 3-20), vitamin D 90. A year ago my ferritin was 48, vitamin b12 331 and folate 12.3. I’m disappointed my ferritin has only gone up by 4. I tried cutting tea out near meal

Once I start supplementing B12, will my B12 blood tests still be accurate?
I would like to know if blood tests will still be a useful measure of my B12 levels, once I have started supplementing B12. I would be testing active B12. The reason I ask is that I have read pernicious anemia people saying that once they start injections (and supplements too maybe), that the B12 blood

My RLS has settled for the time being. Thank you for the information and support!
For the past six months, I've been RLS free! I'm so happy about this and it has made such a difference to my sleep and wellbeing. I have the wonderful, supportive people on here to thank, and especially SueJohnson. Because I received such a good amount of information last year, I was able to check

Painful indigestion
I have pernicious anaemia treated with vit b12 injections. Prior to being diagnosed I suffered with terrible indigestion and the usual meds, like gaviscon, windeze, omprezole did nothing to alleviate it. Since starting the b12 injections the indigestion is less frequent but still very painful and wakes

Diarrhoea can be a symptom of vitamin B12 deficiency!
So if you get these other symptoms or a number of them as well, it's worth getting your B12 checked out with a doctor. The symptoms are: *Rapid breathing or shortness of breath *Headaches *Indigestion *Loss of appetite *Palpitations *Vision problems *Weakness and/or tiredness

Can't use Panpharma 😫
Although I'm prescribed B12 ampoules via my gp, I can only use certain brands without agonising stinging and burning. My local pharmacy hasn't been able to source anything for over a month. It's the added sodium acrylate that I react to. Decided to order online and I thought I'd thoroughly researched

Bit of a success with frequency of B12 injections
Hi, I just wanted to share a bit of a positive experience. I had about a year long history of feeling jittery, bit light headed, palpitations, classic anxiety symptoms. In desperation I asked the GP if she could check to make sure there was no physical reason for this. She kindly ran some basic checks

Parkinsons
Hello My dad has parkinsons and I have read that most patients with a parkinsons diagnosis have low b12. My dad has been taking cyanocobalamin for years so he must have had a low reading at some point. It frustrates me that this hasn't been reviewed. When we arrange a test, will he be required to
