so the good news is that my bloods came back with lots of positives this time.
My TPOAb has reduced to 57, after it was 178 in Feb.
My TSH has woken up and is now in range!
My vitamins are all in good order (thanks to supplements and advice from this forum). B12 has increased +200 since Feb! The only one for concern is iron, which is 39 (low in range) so I’ve started taking an iron tablet. It could be low because I’ve recently become vegetarian and I have had a coil IUD fitted causing very heavy periods - but this is a different story.
Unfortunately though, the problem child this time is my T4 which is now hypothyroid at 8.9 (range 11-22).
I am on 10mcg carbimazole a day. I will email the endocrinologist and ask for a reduction in prescription as being hypo feels like I’m stuck in wet sand.
Question to this forum, would you wait for endocrinologist to respond or just half the carbimazole dose?
thanks 🙏

I'm a little confused as I can't see a positive Graves antibody reading -
and with over range TPO antibodies it looks as though you are dealing with Hashimoto's Auto Immune disease which is not medicated with Carbimazole as once your immune system calms down your thyroid will reset itself without the need of an AT drug.
What can I say other than I am a bit of a mystery 😁
I was hyperthyroid for nearly 6 months until I started taking carbimazole. So the meds have been super useful.
I personally believe I had a savage, delayed case of postpartum thyroiditis as TRAB was negative and my thyroid scan was only slightly elevated with a “suggestion” of graves. Endo treating me as if it’s Graves though and up until now the meds have been effective so haven’t had cause for complaint.
Rather than emailing, when my bloods came back hypothyroid I rang my endocrinologist’s secretary to contact the endo to advise me of my dose reduction. The secretary rang me back within a couple to say that my Dr wanted my dose reduced from 15mg to 5mg.
I’d already made sure that I had the secretary’s number but if you contact the hospital switchboard they should be able to put you through to yours
