Article states b2 deficiency the cause of functional b12 deficiency
what do you all think about this article which states serum b12 can be falsely elevated if there is a b2 deficiency which causes inactive cobalomine to result in elevated serum b12 https://www.iomcworld.org/articles/paradoxical-vitamin-b12-deficiency-normal-to-elevated-serum-b12-with-metabolic-vitamin-b12

PA and anxiety
Hi allI was diagnosed with PA about 6 years ago. For years I lived with the worse anxiety. Once I started loading doses and got on a regiment(3 jabs a week) my anxiety was practically gone. I mean I would get nervous(normal type of nervous) but anxiety was all but gone. About a year ago, my new primary

I'm in my early sixties. Generally very good health. On no medication. About twenty five years ago my then brilliant GP did a blood test for B12. A few days later rang me to come to the surgery immediately where he injected B12 himself. Apparently I had dangerously low levels of B12 that indicated I

Hi everyone, I have had my repeat bloods and everything has come back ‘satisfactory’. I know that doesn’t mean optimal but I also know I’m going to have a hard time convincing the doctor that! I had my free T4 and anti bodies tested at the hospital when I saw the consultant last week, I have requested

Was thinking of Dr. Chandy yesterday, God bless him for having such courage
Long story but I have had a couple of head MRIs due to lesions that are perpendicular in nature. To check if they have increased. I had access to my own scans so I knew that they were checking for MS. As I could read the medical terminology. But my GP (newish to me) never told me. I don't know why, it

is it like starting treatment all over if at first 6 months with sublingual now 2 months EOD inj.
hello all, so if I was on sublingual liquid b12 for the first 6 months and now I'm on EOD injections for 2 1/2 months I feel as if I'm kinda starting over. I did have reversing out with the sublingual but I feel these are getting a lot more in depth and a lot more itching after the pain is gone, and

Help please with Latest Blood Results
Hi all, My latest thyroid bloods have just been made available and would appreciate some advice on what they might mean in terms of medication and supplementation changes. As my T4 has been too high with sub-optimal T3, there were mixed opinions on whether I should just reduce my T4 or reduce it and

Blood results help
Hi all Originally diagnosed 2017 b12 was 71, iron was 8 and folate was 2. I’ve had a couple of folic acid lows which have been treated. Things have got gradually better, however the last couple of months have been awful. Racing heart, flooding periods, pins and needles, exhaustion etc.

CLL Progressing To Next Stage
Today I had a phone consult with my haematologist who informed me CLL has progressed and that at my next appt in 6 weeks’ time he’d discuss with me my options I have to confess to being largely ignorant about the disease (call it burying my head in the sand) and wondered what these options/treatments

Advice on best blood test
Hi there, I'm looking to test Sodium, Potassium & Magnesium levels, as well as a full iron panel, Vit D, B12, Folate, thyroid hormones and sex hormones. I use Medichecks often for testing, but can't find a test that includes everything. I've found a Medichecks test that includes everything but SHBG
