I have a unicorn doctor
ohmygoodness…. I know this should be the standard level of care but I’m still in shock. I just had my latest GP appointment who has been looking after me since my big crash back in March. She had agreed 3 weeks ago to put me back onto weekly injections after such a dismal response to monthly (surprise

Could I actually have a thyroid issue? Thyroid tests seem fine. Confused, please help
Hi everyone, I’m seeing a functional doctor in Brazil (online, so there’s some limitation) and also working with a few traditional medicine doctors in the UK. I became an useless person over the last year, I went from bright and lively to stupid, fat, insomnia ridden, gold-fish memory, paper thin

Test results. Can you advise please.
After great advice on this forum regarding my thyroid nodules, I requested from my GP surgery the same tests as are provided in the Blue Horizon Golden Thyroid Test. The clinician seemed to want to help and I thought almost everything would be tested. However, these are my results and, as is clear

Help, GP appointment tomorrow still can't get them to listen.
So the saga continues, Sneaky GP has refused to reinstate 150mcg daily since reducing it to 150mcg eod in November when TSH 0.01 , 0.27- 4.2, FT4 21.6 12-22, .my HbA1c went up to 54 Vit D 125 , Endo recently said this level was dangerously toxic thought the range BH anyway of 75-200 was optimal

what is it this time?
Ok, so I’ve been SI for just under a month, moving from twice weekly to about EOD following symptoms response. I was initially taking 3mg folic acid each morning with food along with magnesium at night. Two days ago I bought a new brand of folic and increased my dosage to 5mg (following recommendations

Pins and needles help
Friends, I have been diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia and am suffering the classical pins and needles sensation in my arms and legs. B12 jabs have significantly reduced the sensation but I still have some remaining. Is there any over the counter or “home grown” products which can help relief?

Is neuropathy related to Thyroid? If so, what tests do I get?
I have periperal neuropathy primarily in my feet/shins. Is neuropathy related to thyroid issues? If so, is there anyrhing else to test except for a standard thyroid panel? I do currently take B12 injections every 4 days so I have that cause covered which has helped but wondering if something else is

Don't know where to start
After 4 years I still don't really know what I have.Initially diagnosed with Undifferentiated Inflammatory Arthritis, then discovered by accident that it had changed to Connective Tissue Disease and Lupus. I also discovered only yesterday that at some point I tested positive for ANA which I've never

help to understand test results
After a year of monitoring my TSH due to a bout of subacute thyroiditis, initially suspected as thyroid cancer. I am now at a point where my GP feels medication may be required and have undertaken an extensive range of blood tests through the GP I have an appointment on the 4th July to discuss options

Is it worth doing pernicious anemia test with active B12 of 68?
I'm working on getting my levels of B12, folate, ferritin and D up to ideal levels, if I can, for my thyroid. I recently got a B12 result from monitor my health of 68 pmol/L (range 38-210). I have read that you can still have B12 deficiency even if your B12 is around my level (I heard over 70 is needed

New PA diagnosis
Hi all Recently found to have autoimmune gastritis with stomach polyps. I also have Hashimotos (autoimmune thyroid addressed & on meds) and ckd stage 3 I was given the B12 loading dose of 6 injections. I read since a high intake of B12 is not good for the kidneys? Does anyone know if this is the case
