Things are going great!
Now into my 11th week of champix, 10th week of not smoking. My friend is still here and she is a heavy smoker. I actually sat outside with her and a friend, They both smoked while we chatted. I didn't want one. I think because she smokes such strong cigarettes it has helped. I just think wow I use to

Now 30 days smoke free!
Got to 30 days on my life changing journey! Nearly finished my 6th week on Champix. Feeling proud of myself - but still suffering with bad sleep patterns. To anyone out there who is just starting to quit - hang on in there - it’s worth it. If I can do it after 50 years of smoking so can you. Have faith

Hopefully when I am done my champix the cigarette smoke will still smell awful.
My friend arrived from England yesterday. She is staying with us for two weeks and she is a smoker. This is the first time I have been around a smoker since I started the champix. She is an outside smoker. The smell is awful. I have to walk away because I feel like I want to throw up. As a smoker you

What to expect after champix?
Once I am done my twelve weeks of champix what can I expect? I am planning a trip to visit my mother, week after I finish my champix. She lives in a small town and not a lot to do there. My sister lives with her. My sister is a smoker. She does smoke outside. Should I put my trip off to a later date

Fluttering feeling in stomach! - Difficulty in sleeping
When I started on day 8 on Champix (1mg) had difficulty sleeping that night and last night (Day9) had a strange fluttering feeling in my stomach. Eventually got off but felt half asleep & half awake! Has anyone experienced this? Due to quit tomorrow Day10. Had no problem sleeping on the first 7 days

Day 1 of Champix
Very relieved to say up to 10 hours after taking 1st Tablet NO side effects yet! Am not clear whether you should continue to smoke for a week or so or quit sooner if you feel ready? I already had reduced to 4 - 6 a day but just need that last push - any advice much appreciated.

Thank you to posters. It is good info for us beginners!
Day 21 on champix and day 14 of not smoking. My stomach has settled down. Eating more fruit and having a green salad with dinner has helped.

Vaping??
I know not everyone agrees with it but I’m going to try and quit again with vaping. I had a horrid time of champix in the end so I’m going to try this. Any thoughts from anyone?
