What to expect after champix?

Once I am done my twelve weeks of champix what can I expect? I am planning a trip to visit my mother, week after I finish my champix. She lives in a small town and not a lot to do there. My sister lives with her. My sister is a smoker. She does smoke outside. Should I put my trip off to a later date? As I have been putting off booking my flight. Any advice would be appreciated.

You know yourself best in terms of how many cravings you're having, how strong you feel, etc. But I think it's nice to keep living as much as always after quitting. I went to Costa Rica right after quitting and didn't really miss it. Champix is excellent for killing the cravings. You can also tell your sister you won't go outside with her when she's smoking just to give yourself less exposure and to stay strong. I'm sure your sister would understand that.

Reader....at 12 weeks you have reached another itchy 3 ...you have done the 3 hours...the 3 days...the three weeks and 12 weeks will be the 3 months ....at that stage you will not want to smoke anymore...(After this 3 years is in your reach)

And no do not cancel your trip..at a stage you will have to mix with smokers....

My doctor didn't trust me...and neither did I to be fair, as I'd tried and failed before on Champix. He extended my treatment (half-dose). I never enjoyed the Champix side effects - but I was not gonna fail again, so I went with the extended time. End of this month will be a year, so maybe it was the right decision for me.

You are still gonna be tempted - your willpower is something you know best.
