Things are going great!

Now into my 11th week of champix, 10th week of not smoking. My friend is still here and she is a heavy smoker. I actually sat outside with her and a friend, They both smoked while we chatted. I didn't want one. I think because she smokes such strong cigarettes it has helped. I just think wow I use to smell that bad. All I can say is champix is a wonder pill because I have not craved one cigarette in the ten weeks. Just missed the habit in the first few weeks. After every meal I would chew gum. In the last two weeks I have noticed that I don't even go for the gum after my meals. Good luck to all that are starting out on the champix. Stick with it they work.

Congrats you are doing so well especially being with smokers. I just hope my continued journey on Champix is mirrored with yours. Just starting my 8th week - 39days smoke free today. I agree that Champix works well & anyone just starting should stick with it to free themselves from the nicotine devil.

Me too it’s actually 2 years and 2 months for me .I can’t believe I don’t miss cigarrets any more ..Chantix made it much easier for me too .. I only remember having a bad craving maybe 3 times only and that’s back on the first week maybe . But that’s all. I’m very happy been a non smoker . And the money saved it’s s plus !! Happy and healthy 😊
