Desperately ill and really need help
Hi. I posted a couple of years ago with serious concerns and I just keep getting worse and can't find relief from my symptoms. I have Hashimotos and cannot utilise or tolerate thyroid hormone no matter what combination or type that I try (straight T4, combo T3/T4, NDT or T3 only). I feel so very ill

bursitis
Over the last 7 weeks I have had 3 steroid/
cortisone
injections to cure my bursitis. X-ray results have proved that there is nothing wrong. I am in constant pain. Co-codomal tablets spaced me out. Last injection I had was last Friday 18th December.

Severe Frozen Shoulder
Heat seems to be the only thing that helps me although I am going for a
cortisone
injection in my shoulder. Has this helped anyone and what else has helped?

Raised red areas of irritation
For several months I had skin irritation just in my hairline, I couldn't see what the area looked like, but it felt raised/bumpy and irritated, and so I was prescribed Betaderm (has
cortisone
in it) which has eased it.

Low cortisol
Hello, I am new to this forum and would really appreciate any feedback regarding a blood test Ive just had with Blue Horizon. I am feeling quiet desperate and worried. I suffer with Hashimoto's but also with adrenal fatigue which I'm assuming is causing me problems with raising my thyroid meds. At present

shoulder pain
I had a
cortisone
shot in my shoulder and had immediate relief but three days later the pain was back. Im wondering if i done to much by drilling holes in a steel plate on the 3rd day or if its not bursa but a bad rotator cuff, anyone else had this experience?

Adrenal fatigue and thyroid treatment
Hi all, I was diagnosed by Dr Peatfield a year ago with low cortisol, DHEA and poor thyroid function - probably as a result of the adrenals. I've been taking NAX 4 x daily for a year and T3 (20mcg) since July. My latest thyroid results are: TSH 0.06 (0.25-5) Free T4 - 8.51 (10-22) T4 - 57.2 (58-130

Cortisone Injections vs Fusion Surgery..Hmmmm
The Dr says "this is a slam dunk" we need to do a "fusion" procedure or get you a
cortisone
shot too relive the pain. So there you have it guys, this is where i am. By the way, the dr told me that we'll discuss my hip treatment at a later time....pfft...oh boy!

Newbie and self injecting advice
Hi All Wanting some advice on folic acid, I have decided to self inject due to a list as long as my arm of symptoms that indicate Hashimotos, Low cortisol and B12 deficiency. No point in fighting with my doctor anymore, what daily dose of folic acid should I supplement with every day? Am I correct

Not confirmed Lupus yet
Rash he said to put

Cognitive impairment
I've only resently been diagnosed with SLE after having one too many
cortisone
injections and then asking why, why at the grand age of 'nearly' 50 am I having these problems. Tests showed raised ANA's but little else.
