Cerebral syndrome of unknown origin
I'm writing all this because I hope that maybe someone has been experiencing similar symptoms or effects in regard to
cortisone
e.g. due to an autoimmune disease or the like... Please feel free to throw any ideas at me you might have, no matter how absurd they may seem.

B12 Deficiency, recently diagnosed, seeking advice.
I was given a
cortisone
injection from which I felt no benefit whatsoever from. I explained the GP that along with the numbness, pain and strange sensations in my arm and leg I was also experiencing a number of other "nervous related" symptoms.

Hair loss while tapering Prednisone
Anyway blood test said my
cortisone
levels were good but I think that is not the best test of adrenal sufficiency. Has anyone experienced hair loss as they were winding down off Prednisone ? Thank you !!!

Cortisone Injections?
Hi Does anyone have information on whether one can receive
cortisone
shots for various injuries unrelated to PC without adversely impacting one’s ADT treatment? I am in physical therapy for an injured shoulder and recently had a
cortisone
shot and forgot to consult my MO before receiving it.

Update on my Update on my wrist
She also gave me a
cortisone
shot in the triggered thumb which wasn't nearly so scary or painful as I expected.. just some pressure over quickly and a little pain but Nothing to speak of ! EMG electrodes didnt hurt either! Anyway. it's been 24 hours thumb not moving but I understand it takes time.

Achille, fingers and now eye Inflammation need hope it will stop.
I have
cortisone
eye drop for at least a month. Just to get a little bit of hope. After a diagnosis, do you get a medication that solve almost all your problem or i should start thinking to change career again because i'm close to use a wheelchair. I'm presently walking with a cane at 36.

The Plot Thickens…
My Osteopath gave me a private doctor’s contact details so I could see them for a
cortisone
injection. I had the appointment this morning and it turned out to be a breath of fresh air. His bedside manner was so nice. He listened properly!

Cytoxin Storm prevention?
I know about the cause due to lymphoma, application of Lidocaine, Benadryl cream,
cortisone
cream and even taking Benadryl tablets but I'm really concerned or frightened if it happens outside the house.

Had already a
cortisone
injection into right shoulder on 1 April 2022 ........... probably wearing off. The weather beats it all - my pain journey can start with a change in the weather - even days away - then worsen. This current bout of wet weather down 'ere in Cornwall is bloody killing me.

Cortisone injection and possible side affect
I have recently had a
cortisone
injection by a doctor at the hospital for arthritis, and a week later I have started to get palpitations and tiredness. Could these be temporary? Does it affect TSH or T3 conversion?

My mother’s PSP , an update
Today the nurse told me that they gave her
cortisone
because they suspect adrenal insufficiency. One doctor told me that he is expecting all these changes from her disease condition. I am really confused what is happening to my mother? Is it all from her PSP condition

advice please
GP said could be
cortisone
injection adding to things due to possible suppressed immune system. I did have test early am before thyroine but I had a cup of tea an hour before and took 10 mgs propranolol. I forgot this time to not take medication or eat or drink before test.

TSH rising inexplicably
Between 2011 and 2015 I explored every possible treatment, nutrition, herbs, alternative medicine (you name it I’ve applied it including LDN,
cortisone
etc) etc in an attempt to recover from being bed ridden.

She may need
cortisone
shots or surgery for it but before taking that leap just wondering if it is fixable by thyroid.

FLARE at 5.25mg??
And of course trying to get off of the
Cortisone
. I was convinced that the PMR was in total remission. But about 3 plus weeks ago I got really sore shoulders and figured it was the way I was sleeping. Then the muscles in my neck starting hurting both sides - so stiff.
