O2 saturation and chemo
I finish my last does of paxlovis and starting to feel just slightly human. I thought the 4th dose of doxytaxel was horrible but it seems it is largely due to the covid. I ended up spending the whole day in the ER (with travel) for no reason. I has having widely fluctuating O2% and pulse I don't remember

Tapering going well so far with a few hiccups
I have been kept very busy the last year and a half with a move to a state 1000 miles away from our dream home of 16 years. Now we are having to start over with the repairs and upgrades of a different house. and at 80 I was hoping to be done with that. Thank heavens the stress of packing and of the three

My oxygen level drops to 80% at night after COVID!
I had COVID on Nov. 3. It lasted about 2 weeks then I felt better. But, a week later I got hit bad. I felt like I was suffocating every night. I had a pulse ox meter that read from 80%-88%. I had a low grade fever. I couldn't take in a deep breath because my right lung felt stabbing pain. The lower

DID A FAMOUS DOCTOR’S COVID SHOT MAKE HIS CANCER WORSE?
Curious if you all seen this article? Since January 2022, I stated to all of my husband Dr's that I truly believed that my husband's 3rd COVID activated his CLL. Although a rare side-effect (per article), this also happened to the famous Dr. https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2022/09/mrna-covid-vaccine-booster-lymphoma-cancer

CATCH-up-CORNER... JANUARY 2023...WEEK 2... Slip off your running shoes, come in inside. Everyone is Welcome.
Time for the Three Rs. Resolutions, Running and Reality... Hello. Yes. Hard to believe I know... but, one week of the year gone and here I am in the Corner, cushions plumped, fire crackling away and just waiting to see who pops in this week . The start of the year after the Winterval festivities

COVId Jab side effects
last year I had 2 bad bouts of anxiety/ depression. I checked my calender and each bout started 2 weeks after my COVId Jab. This may be coincidence and my GP had never heard of it. I would like to know if anyone else had this problem. I have had 5 jabs altogether,

Hi ,I'm 57 with Cirrhosis (diagnosed 2015 after being informed a blood test in 2007 was pos 'Hep C' with v/high viral count/chronic). Aggressive breast cancer metastases after Covid boosters
Has anyone seen the new report on this? I have been concerned about Covid and metastases in general (not the shot or following boosters) because my metastases appeared 15 days after I had a very mild case of Covid. A professor of oncology at St. George’s university of London states that Research shows

Covid bonus!
Our grand children gave us a New Year present of Covid, husband first then 4 days later me. I battled through the NHS Test and Trace system to see if I needed an antiviral, got an initial phone back by a doctor after 24 hours who thought we should wait another 24hours but by the time I'd waited for

Smartwatch study confirms Covid booster vaccine safety
The effectiveness of the second BNT162b2 (Pfizer–BioNTech) mRNA COVID-19 booster vaccine dose (ie, fourth inoculation) is well established, but its safety has yet to be fully understood. The absence of sufficient vaccine safety information is one of the key contributors to vaccine hesitancy. In this

COVID Boosters. Continue or Stop.

Give me your best Covid remedies and advice
After dodging Covid for a couple years, today I tested positive. I have a headache, fever, dry cough, chills and sweats. Upon the advice of my doc at MD Anderson, I am going to start paxlovid today and pause my calquence. I plan on getting an oximeter to monitor my oxygen, some cough syrup

Covid, continuous dry cough causing sleep loss and what to do next?
Tested positive for Covid 3 days ago after previous 3 days of cold/ flu like symptoms. Temperature (38°C for one day) and deadly sore throat now gone. Continuous dry cough remains. Kept me awake for last 5 nights. Diaphragm now aching and painful when I cough. Tried all sorts - hot honey and lemon drinks

New Year , and I've Come Down With Strep. Here's Some Info if You Suspect It and Need to Get Tested Safely
So a New Year begins , but rather than hitting the ground running I've hit it with a thud. We had guests for the first Christmas since COVID and one of them had a nasty cough. My OH came down with symptoms a week ago and then I got the tell tale signs a few days ago. So , we contacted the GP surgery
