NHS-approved covid self-tests

Hi all --

I am in need of more lateral covid test kits. Amazon has two types, and reviews to both suggest that the NHS does not recognize them as "official". Has anyone experienced this? I just was able to order my covid test from the NHS b.c. I am eligible for covid treatment, but they may not last forever.

Cheers!

Hi

If you were on the original shielding list during covid you should still be able to order tests via the . gov website.ie still classed as at risk from covid complications.

I am still able to order them to be delivered as and when required.

👍😊

Thank you, Pips! I am on the list, so I checked if I can do this, and they allowed me to order it!

Hi I had Covid recently, and because I am vulnerable (severe asthma) I was able to order more through the gov web site. You just have to the fill in the form and use your nhs reg. It seemed to know I was allowed them. very easy.
