Constant fatigue
Hi, I had a heart attack 3 years ago and a stent. I'm still constantly tired plus am struggling with going out and lack of confidence since lockdown lifted. Is anyone else in the same position? and how have people coped with it? Any advice welcome - thank you

I had massive HA last year had a stent put it doing really well. But I keep on noticing my ankles are really swollen even when I get out of the bed in the morning they are still there. In the afternoon before I cook the evening meal I sit down with my feet up but it never goes down. As anyone else experienced

Medications side effects continue
Hello everyone, I hope your weekend is going well. I am now nearing 6 months post CABG x 4 and still struggling with nausea and vomiting from some of the meds. I was changed to Clopidogrel from Ticegrelor, and am also on Nebivolol. I can’t tolerate the statin tablet so that is an ongoing conversation

Heart attack problems
Hi everyone Sorry to say I had a minor heart attack on Thursday, but fortunately my wife rang 999 and everything after went as smoothly as clockwork. Ambulance arrived within 10 minutes and they did ecg scans at home and in the ambulance. They then phoned ahead to the Cardiac care unit, who admitted

Is PMR always bilateral?
It’s 2 1/2 years since original onset and diagnosis of PMR with bilateral upper arm pain. I started on 15mg of Pred and have been reducing slowly using Dorset Lady’s plan of 1/2mg reduction every 5 weeks, since I got to 8mg. However since reducing from 4 to 3 1/2 mg I have pulsating pain in my right

Heart ache - stress different from exercise (angina?)
I'm interested in my different kind of aches! I used to have angina, from exercise - drugs and a stent has stopped that, though I did experience a lot of 'bruising' ache after the stent, particularly when I tried to be 'normal' again and not wrap myself up in cotton wool - though I'm now so keen just

Vasculitis vs arteriosclerosis, getting pregnant after a CABG and statin/diet questions!
Hi! I’m 34 and have just had a CABG, I’m 6 weeks post op and feel almost back to normal. Yes, I know, I’m young and have bounced! They think that my coronary arteries were damaged by vasculitis I (might) have had when I was 19, it wasn’t diagnosed at the time as I had just classic viral symptoms although

Aspirin doseage
I have taken aspirin and Clopidogrel since my HA and CABG last May. I buy aspirin, save the NHS a few pennies, and I inadvertently bought 300mg instead of 75mg. 🤷♀️ So this morning I broke one in half and took 150mg (I tried quarters but ended up with crumbs 😂) I can’t get to the shops until Monday

Hi there (newbie)
Well, here I am led in the bath…..at 00:09am! And I’m utterly shattered for these regular (nightly) twilight baths to help my legs from constantly moving in the bed, no matter what my ‘sleeping’ position (sleep, what was that again?). My restless legs joined my body a couple of years ago but would annoy

Heart attacks associated with amitriptyline?
I had a heart attack and stent fitted December last year. On the usual meds, i. e. Aspirin, clopidogrel, statins, beta blockers, BP tablets. I thought I had trigeminal neuralgia for years on and off until I saw a neurologist last week but he said he suspects my condition is hemicrania continua, very

Heart muscle repair
Hi My husband has been told that the artery, which is blocked solid is not worth putting a stent in as the part of the heart muscle is too badly damaged to make it worthwhile doing. However, the cardiologist has said that sometimes after a year or so the outer area of the muscle may self repair and
