My first post- I had a heart attack and stent 4 weeks ago. I used to exercise 4 times a week, cholesterol under 5, not over weight and all this was so out the blue. I have been so confused What I can and cannot do ever since and have been reading what everybody puts on here and google is my new best

Beer is good as I can't drink 3 litres of water!
Beer is good as I can't drink 3 litres of water. With all the drugs I have to take, I try to drink lots of water, but it's hard. Between chemo sessions it's hard enough to eat and drink as it is. But as week 3 comes around, I'm starting to feel a lot better, so I find a few cleansing ales really goes

Soluble aspirin
Good morning everyone, I had a heart attack and stent fitted 2 months ago and I was wondering if anyone else might have had any problems with soluble aspirin? I have a constant ringing in my ears and feel very congested for most of the day. Thanks in advance, Paul

Getting back up again, sometimes it’s an effort
So last week I had 4 more Stents fitted, giving me a total of 15. 6 years ago I had a quad CABG, been living with heart issues for 20yrs. I’d finally got myself fit again, sub 30 min Parkrun, 50k trail run completed last year and managing to go running for long distances. Didn’t expect to have another

Sudden appearance of a double chin.
When I had an angiogram several months ago, I awoke the following morning with a lot of loose skin under my chin. I've never had a double chin and this disappeared after a few days. But now it's suddenly returned. It's not fatty, just loose. I have gained a little weight during lockdown, but nothing

Slow heart rate
Has anyone suddenly had a slow heart rate? I had cabg x 4 in April 2019- been well since but my resting heart rate now 54ish. NHS website says +60 should be norm. Docs have reduced bisoprolol but not making any difference. Feel tired with it.

Work and heart disease
Hi I'm fairly new here. Had a stent fitted 26th june still experiencing chest pain, diagnosed with angina (ischemic heart disease). Advice needed on returning back to work as i am a key worker, very concerned about working closely to public during covid -19 pandemic. Any advice would be appreciated.
