Am I classed as having heart disease
I had a minor heart attack at the start of last year due to a narrowing of one of my arteries. They fitted a stent and said there was no other signs of narrowing elsewhere. Do I count as having heart disease?

Stopping Ramilpril
I had a stent fitted in December 2019 due to a blocked artery. I didn’t have any heart or lung problems and have very good blood pressure. My doctor at the time put me on Ramilpril along with other meds and I have recently developed a bad cough which is driving me mad. Would it be safe to stop taking

Unstable on my feet post HA
Greetings. Almost 2 years ago I had a heart attack. I had a stent fitted and all has been well. The only slight concern is seem to loose my sense of balance and bump into things. I am taking one 3.75 tablet of Bisoprolol a day.

On going discomfort
After heart attack in Sept and stent fitting my husband has what he classes as discomfort in his chest. He's had it since heart attack and mentioned it to both Cardio and own G.P but they don't seem overly concerned(I even rang an ambulance 1 day, they did ecg and said it wasn't his heart) he's waiting

Understanding the vaccine priority
Am I correct in thinking that having had a heart attack and a stent and being 63yrs old, that this will place me in priority group 6 ‘16 - 64yrs - with underlying health conditions? I have always thought it did. I ask your advice on this as my 58yr old sister with no underlying conditions, lives in

anxiety after a stent fitting
Hi. I'm new here. I had a series of HAs, an angiogram and a stent in the LAD coronary artery two weeks back, in Oxford's JR hospital. Everything was fine, and this miraculous operation described as 'routine'. Since then I've often felt perfectly ok, but have also had days (and nights) where I almost

My Dad is fighting Covid on a ventilator
Hi, I hope you can help me. I am really struggling now, I miss my Dad so much. He was admitted to hospital in January 8th and has been on a ventilator since the 11th. He has contracted pneumonia twice and managed to fight it off both times. He had 2 mild heart attacks, one of which required a stent.

Drugs pits stent
Had stents done yesterday. Now given Perindopril (used prior to stents) Bisoprodol Fumerate, Trangina XL (used Momomax XL prior to stent) concerned they will lower blood pressure too much as prior to stent BP was 125/75 or slightly less. Was surprised that nitrates are continued too. Think it is OTT

Swimming in cold water after HA
Hi I suffered a heart attack October last year, one stent fitted and on the usual cocktail of medication, is there a rule of thumb on what water temperature is ok to swim in? Heard varying opinions on how cold water should be avoided. Thanks Jon

Medication
Stent - I had a heart attack in August and after 3 admissions to hospital was finally fitted with a stent. I am on lots of medication and wonder if it will soon be possible to come off some of it. It seems a bit like belt and braces with having to take aspirin and another blood thinner?

Hi yesterday I had my second planned stent fitted and discharged 4 hrs later. During the night I had pain in my chest and high BP. Ambulance attended & heart seem fine. Is it common to have pain it’s as though Iv been punched similar to mussel pain. No other symptoms

Infection. What a Story.
I had been trotting along fairly well after chemo, Avasten and serious debulking surgery. I needed more monthly chemo as my CA125 bloods were still high. Well, we decided to put it off until January so that I could go interstate to see my 98 years old Dad in aged care. We couldn't do that because

Decision to be made
I have to undergo surgery to fix an aneurysm in my right Ileac artery. Due to the positioning, the consulting surgeon has said there are two options. Option 1 is to open me up across the lower abdomen and perform major surgery that way. Option 2 is to use "keyhole surgery" which more or less means

Feeling really worried
Had angioplasty a week ago,She couldn’t get stent in LAD as things were” too tight” but did managed to open it up, but also said during the procedure that CABG was probably best option.I will get a app in 8 was to discuss how I am etc. I was feeling positive until I read the discharge notes yesterday
