I had massive HA last year had a stent put it doing really well. But I keep on noticing my ankles are really swollen even when I get out of the bed in the morning they are still there. In the afternoon before I cook the evening meal I sit down with my feet up but it never goes down. As anyone else experienced this.

Please contact your GP, it could be related to your kidneys or a reaction to medication. Are you diabetic ? Either way, this needs to be checked out by medical professional. Good luck c
Hello
I had a Bypass op 10 months ago and in the afternoon one of my feet and ankle can really swell however if I elevate it or when I go to bed and get up it has gone down
My Doctor has seen it swollen I have been checked and everything is ok but I have been told as long as the swelling goes down especially when I get up they are not worried but if the swelling does not go down I should let them know so I would really let them know that yours is not going down as already said it could be your medication and blood tests need doing and they can sort this out
Let us know how you get on x
Hi I wonder if you are on Amlodipine as I get swollen ankles due to the drug, it’s quite common side affect. Had my triple by pass 22 yrs ago
I too have been aflicted with swollen ankles ever since GP put me on Sotalol. I have wondered if there is any connection.
