Constant fatigue
Hi, I had a heart attack 3 years ago and a stent. I'm still constantly tired plus am struggling with going out and lack of confidence since lockdown lifted. Is anyone else in the same position? and how have people coped with it? Any advice welcome - thank you

I had massive HA last year had a stent put it doing really well. But I keep on noticing my ankles are really swollen even when I get out of the bed in the morning they are still there. In the afternoon before I cook the evening meal I sit down with my feet up but it never goes down. As anyone else experienced

Travel insurance
Hey everyone, does anyone have experience of travel insurance post CABG? Is it easy/cheap to get? I had a 4-way.. I also had a nephrectomy but I'm less concerned about that as an ongoing health concern Cheers!

Strange feeling in my chest, could it be Angina.
Sorry for the long post, but here goes. It is now almost 6 months since my heart attack and subsequent CABG x 6. Before my heart attack I felt healthy and presented no symptoms. I am recovering well after been diagnosed with acute CHD and am feeling so much stronger apart from niggles around the sternum

Heart attack problems
Hi everyone Sorry to say I had a minor heart attack on Thursday, but fortunately my wife rang 999 and everything after went as smoothly as clockwork. Ambulance arrived within 10 minutes and they did ecg scans at home and in the ambulance. They then phoned ahead to the Cardiac care unit, who admitted

Is PMR always bilateral?
It’s 2 1/2 years since original onset and diagnosis of PMR with bilateral upper arm pain. I started on 15mg of Pred and have been reducing slowly using Dorset Lady’s plan of 1/2mg reduction every 5 weeks, since I got to 8mg. However since reducing from 4 to 3 1/2 mg I have pulsating pain in my right

Chest pains 6 months after HA and triple CABG
I’m 6 months post CABG and HA. I’ve not had any twinges or chest pains for a few months until today. Both left and right side of chest. My recovery has been surprisingly unremarkable and I’m fit and well. I’ve taken some paracetamol which has eased the pains but it’s frightened me a bit. I’m not a panicker

The cards I have been dealt…
Hey guys, I’m lost. I had bypass surgery in January at 34 yrs old, healthy BMI, exercise, non-smoker. Originally they thought that my stenosis was caused by a nasty virus that I had when I was 19 but now it’s looking more and more likely that it is actually a type of arteriosclerosis. When I thought

Heart ache - stress different from exercise (angina?)
I'm interested in my different kind of aches! I used to have angina, from exercise - drugs and a stent has stopped that, though I did experience a lot of 'bruising' ache after the stent, particularly when I tried to be 'normal' again and not wrap myself up in cotton wool - though I'm now so keen just

Hi there (newbie)
Well, here I am led in the bath…..at 00:09am! And I’m utterly shattered for these regular (nightly) twilight baths to help my legs from constantly moving in the bed, no matter what my ‘sleeping’ position (sleep, what was that again?). My restless legs joined my body a couple of years ago but would annoy

Heart attacks associated with amitriptyline?
I had a heart attack and stent fitted December last year. On the usual meds, i. e. Aspirin, clopidogrel, statins, beta blockers, BP tablets. I thought I had trigeminal neuralgia for years on and off until I saw a neurologist last week but he said he suspects my condition is hemicrania continua, very
