We have been ttc 3+ years and I’ve just had my first failed round of IVF.
I was diagnosed about 15 years ago, I am now 35. I don’t suffer your typical endo pains and my scans and tests etc don’t show ‘serious’ endo - although I was diagnosed previously with stage 4, which 2 consultants have said was an over diagnosis. My tubes are clear, ovaries move well, lining looks perfect and no cysts.
Does anyone have any good news stories? Like getting pregnant with severe endo? Or any advice on what tests/lifestyle changes I should be making?
Or if you have an amazing endo consultant that helped you towards a successful pregnancy…my do inbox me the details.
yep o do! After TTC for 7 years and 3 laparoscopic surgeries to treat endometriosis ( within 13 months) I conceived my daughter Francesca who turns 4 in June and after a very late loss of our second daughter Amelia and 2 early miscarriages we had our second ( alive ) 1 year old daughter Eliza. It took years like neatly 6 years of "unexplained infertility " and 3 years of "unexplained abnormalities in my cycles" I don't know my stage ( was not told) but I did have complex endometriosis and the third lap was done by a endometriosis specialist-2 months later I fell with Francesca naturally. My Tubes and everything else was thankfully normal for us. I was 37 having Francesca and 40 with Eliza! You still have lots of time 😃 I'm sorry to for your struggles infertility is so painful as everyone near you popping out babies left right and centre with some much ease (that's how we felt anyways) but I hope my story can give you some hope IT IS possible to have endometriosis and have children. Wishing you the best in this tough journey Xx
Hi Jess, what an amazing story ❤️ this brings me so much hope. Thank you for sharing and I am so delighted you finally completed your family after so much heartache and loss. I have found an endo specialist in the south west - so I think before forking out thousands on more ivf, I will have a few consultations and maybe a lap. Thank you so much 💫
