Hi ladies, this is my first time posting on here, and its a bit of a long one, sorry. We had a transfer on the 20th April, however this ended in a chemical pregnancy. Had lots (and LOTS) of positive tests, but never any progression. To say we were devastated would be an understatement. I already

Orphenadrine
My hwp had been using ophenadrine some time ago and stopped because of fears around using anticholinergics. However, his unrelenting battle with sciatica has me wondering if it might not be worth taking the risk. He is a well person in every other way, but the pain has him battling to do exercise. He

Vaginal microbial test -two bacteria are higher. Any experience with treatment, recovery and impact on ivf/icsi ?
Hi all, I performed a vaginal microbiome test and the results show a higher level of Prevotella bivia and Ureaplasma urealyticum. Since these bacteria can have a negative impact on fertility ( implantation failure, bacterial vaginosis, sperm health), yesterday I contacted my consultant and today I

Recent Diagnosis - What are my options?
Hi, I have recently received a diagnosis of "suspected endometriosis" by my GP and am in the process of figuring everything out. I'm currently 31 and had been on the combined pill since I was 18. I got fed up with how the pills made me feel so I decided to go hormone free and got the copper coil

I am on 320 of alvesco a day at present along with fostair mart taken with my trusty aero chamber. I was on 640 of alvesco, however for the first time I was starting to get some irritations from this, mild oral thrush, joint pain, weight gain and some odd eye issues. So my consultant said to drop

Confused about AMH and letrozole/trigger and IVF
Hi, I have a history of early miscarriages. Under recurrent miscarriage clinic, I am told to take progesterone and aspirin from positive results, and clexane from 6 week scan. I've not had any medicine under previous pregnancies that led to miscarriages. I also have very low AMH. Experts have said usually

Constant lower Back/Left Bum cheek pain
Hi All,I have adenomyosis and I have been having constant and chronic lower back pain and pain on my left bum cheek for 9 months. Does anyone else with adenomyosis have this problem? I've had a laparoscopy and endo wasn't found but I wouldn't be surprised if I have it too. It's tormenting me and hugely

Sorted -,covid anti viral treatment
I managed to get covid a month after Rituxumab infusions, got free lateral flow test from independent pharmacy (boots and Tesco were hopeless and not signed up to the scheme) all the pharmacist needed was sight of a clinical letter confirming diagnosis. Is this lupus?
Hi, I'm just into my sixties and have developed symptoms that are tempting to pigeonhole "getting older" or menopause, but I don't think that they are. I do know though that the flare ups became much worse following a viral infection Feb 2020 (maybe covid?). I also reacted dramatically to the astra

Wearing a mask!
My wife has cll diagnosed in June of 2012. She is currently on Venclexta. My question I am sure has been discussed before. She goes in frequently for some infusions but mostly just taking the pill. The question is that none of the medical support staff wear masks. We always do for almost every indoor

Change in inhalers
I'm currently on sertide and being switched over to symbicort. I'm not sure of the dosage etc as need to discuss further with gp. I'm a little concerned as been on seretide for years. When I get switched it triggers flares and I've already had loads of time of work. I work part time. I also think I'm

anyone else had genetic testing?
Hi well I’m back after a long break after previously having 2 BFN when we tried donor eggs with icsi. We’ve saved up again and decided to give it one last shot and this time the consultant recommended we try genetic screening before having any embryos implanted. Just wondered if there is anyone else

Advice after possible Covid
Hi all, I've been horribly ill with what is probably Covid (no positive LFT test but typical weird breathlessness, fluid lungs, fatigue, dizziness and all the rest). However, three weeks later and a course of antibiotics, and I'm still feeling rotten - massive fatigue, pains everywhere, dizziness

What changes did you make between Cycle 1 and 2?
BFN today following our one and only embryo transfer from Cycle 1, so beginning to think about our next (and last) cycle. It all started off quite well, 18 eggs collected but unfortunately only two fertilised via ICSI. I'm 39. But do have a 6 year old daughter from a previous relationship. We are having
