3 eggs on high dose, none fertilised
I'm 38 with a low egg reserve. I had my 1st cycle on the NHS and I was on protocol 9, which is their highest protocol. I was on 75 luveris and 375 gonal-f for a total of 18 days before I took my trigger and I had my retrieval on Monday there. They got 3 eggs, and the next morning I found out that 2 had

ICSI risks?!
Last week my partner and I completed our first egg collection. Everything went well on my side; I was elated with my 20 eggs šŖ but the embryologist decided on the day to do ICSI instead of IVF due to my partners sperm. 7 fertilised the next day and they're now in the freezer until we're ready to transfer

The more symptoms the better? Covid-19 vaccine side effects and long-term neutralizing antibody
I've just read the extensive discussion about post-vaccination side effects initiated by Sharastani "After COVID vaccination, when do āside effectsā become an āadverse reactionā?" https://healthunlocked.com/cllsupport/posts/150070059/ Having read the discussion, I feel compelled to share with you

Covid or Asthma
So I recently had Covid and tested negative on Friday, I didn't feel particularly ill throughout my week with Covid apart from complete and utter exhaustion and some ear/ sinus infection which turned out to be a nasty ear infection. I've got this nasty chesty cough and yesterday and today I've been slightly

Pneumonia vaccination
Hi all. I have recently returned to Spain for the foreseeable future and managed to get my covid vaccination shortly after my arrival a few weeks ago. I had my flu vaccination in the UK just before we came out. I have to say that I have responded well to both vaccinations with no adverse side effects

Urologist / Andrologist
Hello lovely people, Could you please recommend (PM me, please) an urologist or andrologist in Milton Keynes area or London who can help us to investigate 100% antibodies in semen? My partner already had advanced semen tests like DNA fragmentation etc, however the only two worrying factors are 100%

Loosing hope
Hi everyone - sorry, this is a long one! Grab a brewā¦ Our first IVF round failed in February and we didnāt get any in the freezer. My OHās semen analysis was really positive, so the focus has been on me with my low AMH levels, previous ovarian surgery and age (38). We only got 2 eggs, both fertilised

ICSI and low fertilisation rates
I had a failed first round with no fertilisation with IVF. Iāve just had my second with ICSI 21 eggs, 14 mature and three have fertilised normally. A bit disappointed with low fertilisation rates. If thereās only one Iāll go for fresh transfer on Friday and if more than one Iāll go for day 5 Sunday.

Looking for success stories
Iām feeling a little deflated and Iām hoping you lovely humans can share some success stories with me. We had egg collection today. Despite having a high AMH (50.9) and PCOS they only retrieved five eggs, with two of the larger follicles being empty. For context, Iām 35 and weāre having ICSI due to

16 follicles but only 3 now growing?
Hi all - long time loiterer, first round IVF-er. I am in the stims stage of our first ever IVF round and slowly baking some follicles over here for first collection for PGTA. I know there are huge drop-offs at each stage - and super unlikely to get great numbers when I'm 42, however......at my baseline

DNA fragmentation and ICSI
Hello, I'm experiencing severe PMS today which means I'm overthinking everything and negative thoughts are just going round and round after a confirmed negative test on Friday (my 3rd and last FET of this cycle). We recently discovered my partner's DNA fragmentation is sitting at 30% and I have a few

After COVID vaccination, when do āside effectsā become an āadverse reactionā?
Hi I just had my regular seasonal COVID vaccination and with my previous 3 vaccinations my side effects have been awful. I purposely book them for a Friday as I know I will be out of action all weekend and I do not have to miss work every time. The effects are headaches, fever, nausea and basic pain

Been out of hospital for a week now after pneumonia and finding out I have a heart problem now. Ejection Fraction. Never heard of it before. Anyway, got home, started new meds for heart and now chest infection back. Feeling rather sorry for myself it's been ongoing about 9 weeks. I do like this forum
