As the title says really - typical of my body to not do as it’s told! I’ve started spotting even though I take the pill back to back as I have endometriosis. I’m due to start injections at the start of June but I’ve just started spotting/getting cramps. My body does it every few months as if it’s trying to have a period even though I take the pill. Has anyone else been in this situation?

Hi Ziggy, I have had a similar situation twice. Have stage 4 endometriosis with several endometrioma on both ovaries. During one medicated FET cycle I started spotting (mainly brown) while I was on Prognyova (x4 a day) and before I was about to start progesterone we had to cancel the cycle. Been wanting to try a natural FET, and the consultant put me on Decapeptyl for a month and I started spotting again in the middle of that month, and decided to do another Decapeptyl injection for one more month. And my period is nowhere to be seen now, and it has been over 40 days (and I have short cycles). This endometriosis business is so unjust and very frustrating. Really hope our bodies play ball and we can smoothly proceed to next level, which seems to be taking forever. Have they scanned you for hydrosalphynx? Sending lots of positivity your way. xx
It’s awful isn’t it! I’m going to have to call my clinic tomorrow and ask what I should do. Tomorrow is meant to be day 1 of my cycle as I’m due to start another pill packet but it’s like my body knows I should have a period so it’s trying to have one. What a nightmare. I haven’t been scanned for hydrosalphynx but had my tubes tested during my laparoscopy and was they were found to be blocked x
