hormonal birth control after laparoscopy

hello! I'm hoping for advice.

I'm 25, I've been diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis and got a laparoscopy 8 days ago, where they removed endo implants from the back of the uterus.

My doubt is about birth control.

Now I've been prescribed to go back to Femodette again.

I took femodette from the ages of 20-23 roughly and was okish with hiding the symptoms, except for terrible hormonal acne.( I had been suffering from debilitating periods lasting 10 days a month in bed, since I was 12 but never taken to a doctor until I escaped my parents house and took myself)

the pain began to intensify so I was put on dianogest, which didnt work, then I was given Cerazette for the last 6 months whch hasn't helped the symptoms either but gave me intense depression episodes.

has anyone had a similar experience? Is going back to femodette a reasonable decision? How have you felt post-op?did things get better? Is there any hope i can give up birth control altogether?
