Sleeping kidney after transplant
Hi, My partner has just had a kidney transplant 6 days ago. He is 31 years old. He had 9% function before he received the kidney and wasn’t on dialysis beforehand. He’s in hospital and due to Covid he’s alone and I can’t go. He’s not great at talking to Doctors and I’m not getting any information. His

Myoclonus?
Hi, does anyone else here suffer from severe bouts of full-body myoclonus? It started when I was on peritoneal dialysis, in connection with a medication called ropinerole. It continued after I stopped the medication, and even 3 years after my transplant. I've seen neurologists, had EEGs, done everything

Need advice for backup power supply for doing home dialysis
My husband has been on home hemodialysis for two years. We want to get a backup power supply for the dialyzer in the event of a power failure. We know nothing about how to go about this. Does anyone else have a backup power unit for their home equipment? Thanks.

Can anyone advise me please? I was diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis in June 2018. I was on Methotrexate and changed to Sulfasalazine in August last year. I was under the dermatologist, but they discharged me last year. I have various creams for my skin, but struggle with my face. Can anyone recommend

CPAP user dental problems
Does anyone have any advice on dental care? I'm sure the pressure of the mask cushions on my gums is causing my 'long in the tooth' look. I use a humidifier as am a mouth breather. A chin strap is not possible for me due to the venous malformation I have in my mouth that is the cause of my OSAS. Any

Love donors
I'm amazed by all of the people who have donated their kidney. What a wonderful, selfless gift. I am 31 years old, and a single mom who is on dialysis, and dreaming of getting a transplant. Hopefully, in my future I will find a donor and get the transplant I so desperately need and want. Thanks to all

IgA for 10+ years and sudden drop of eGFR 85 to 69
Hello all! I’m a 37 years old female who was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy about 11 years ago. I saw many doctors and specialists, eventually I ended up in
