Does anyone have any advice on dental care? I'm sure the pressure of the mask cushions on my gums is causing my 'long in the tooth' look. I use a humidifier as am a mouth breather. A chin strap is not possible for me due to the venous malformation I have in my mouth that is the cause of my OSAS. Any suggestions for maintaining oral health would be appreciated, thanks.

Be extremely careful about how the c pap dries out your mouth. I am very diligent with oral care but it cause significant dental issues and accelerated decay because saliva is what washes the plaque and bacteria away from gums and teeth. I ended up stopping use because of this. There is also. I good literature on it, dental professionals didn’t warn me despite me asking and even with full humidifcation it was still not enough moisture. I tried wetting rinses , lozenges, etc and nothing helped
I am currently fighting this battle. (It's 3'15am and I have given up with the full mask again)
Incredibly dry mouth with nose mask. Cannot manage the nose/mouth mask as it leaks after 25 mins. Artificial saliva doesn't work well and I wake frequently to work my saliva glands.
Often wake with gum pain.
