No intensification - is doc too laid back?
With a BRCA 2 mutation, Gleason 9, low PSA and intraductal cancer, I was preparing for “Total Combat” with a sharp intensification of my medication, which is now limited to ADT in the form of transdermal estrogen. “Hit the cancer hard and early”. To my surprise, doc suggests no added medication at all

Can anyone please advise me if any research has been made into Fibromyalgia pain and Estrogen levels?
It's just my pain seems to get better, when I am on the pill and obviously I know that pain is on it's own cycle, but can fibromyalgia pain be hormone related?

Thyroid help during IVF
Morning all, Have been lurking in the background for the past year or so. This forum was an incredible help to my at the start of my under active thyroid and Hashi’s diagnosis. So I’m back again for a little help. I’ve recently embarked on my first cycle of IVF and was told by my endo to get bloods

Feeling so horrible and in pain since EC. What can I do?
Hello lovely people! I'm currently 9 days past a 5 day transfer and I'm feeling awful. I have been having pain since my egg collection and although the pain is different now- it's still there and the discomfort is getting worse. First of all I'm still extremely bloated. I'm not using progesterone or

Back for FET after loads of tests
Morning I'm back for my next FET. After my failed transfer in January of my perfect PGS tested embryo, I've been for all manner of tests. My clinic calls them level 1 and level 2. I feel so blessed that these tests exist, and that somehow we've had the funds to pay for them. You kinda hope these tests

When to stop oestrogen?
I have been on two oestrogen patches every other day since beginning my medicated FET cycle. I am 10 weeks pregnant tomorrow and my clinic have said I can stop all medication then. However, I have decided to carry on taking progesterone until week 12, gradually reducing the dosage, just to be safe. There

Liquid levothyroxin
Hi everyone. I read last week that liquid levothyroxin had recently been given an extra licence in the UK. As of 2020 it can now be prescribed for people who have a malabsorption problem with tablets. Sorry, I can't find the article. I was away last week and didn't make a note of it. I was very surprised

Advice on HRT
Hello😊 im looking for HRT advice, Im 48 and recently started on estradiol 1% the brand I'm on is Divigel, I'm a little confused as I asked for a body identical one and this is bio identical, I've been on Dr Louise Newsons page and she said body identical is the safest oestrogen but my doctor said that

Testosterone & Covid-19
New study below [1] [2] When the pandemic began, it was quickly noted that a disproportionate number of men were dying from it. Made sense, since women mount a stronger immune response than me with high-normal testosterone [T]. And then the Italian study came out in May (2020) [3]: "Our data suggest

When to stop taking progesterone?
Hi Everyone, We've had some good news this end. I am currently 7.5 weeks pregnant...and with twins! After three early miscarriages, it felt like IVF was never going to work for us. We are still in a state of shock and are absolutely terrified day-to-day. Desperately hoping luck stays with us this time

Lining reduced after starting progesterone in FET
Hi everyone, Wondering if I could get some advice or see if anyone's had similar experiences. I am 35yrs old. I've had 2 miscarriages both at 6 week (age 33). At 5 weeks both had slow heart rates of 80. Then a week later nothing. My AMH was found to be low. Dr advised to continue trying to conceive naturally
