So first ivf - 300iu menopur 5 eggs 2 blasts

Second ivf - 225iu gonal f and 150 menopur - very poor response lining poor and follicle growth poor converted to iui

Third ivf - 325iu pergovaris and estrofem same as second cycle except we decided to ER our lead follicle no egg in it.

Fourth upcoming cycle - recommended estrogen priming, gonal f 300iu and 150iu menopur ..

Really concerned I will have same response as my last 2 cycles .. is there some reason clinics are not reverting to my first cycle?

Hi Letro112, I would definitely speak to them again about your protocol. I had my best response from a higher menopur dose and lower Gonal F and if you feel that you would benefit from a change then please do speak to them. You are the client and you are paying or it (presuming!) I find with my clinic they don't often read through all the notes thoroughly - for example I'm just about to prep for FET - and they decided I should down reg with Buserelin now.... I pointed out that last time I did that I developed a cyst and we had to cancel. She then read through my notes again and said "ah yes, ok no Buserelin". So you are well within your rights to question it. x

Hi letro. You need to discuss the reasoning behind the changes you have had, and are to have. The oestrogen is probably to allow the release of more eggs. Good luck! Diane
