I am currently undergoing chemo before surgery for BC. I have had three treatments of EC and am now on Docetaxol with pertuzumab and trastuzumab but since being on this (had 2 so far, another one to go) I have noticed a discharge. I stopped my periods when I was 46 and was put on hrt due to not being

Scared of next transfer
Wondering three things... I feel like there is so much riding on this next transfer I’m trying to research a few things that are niggling away in my “gut feeling”. After 3 early fails at 5-6 weeks I’m scared of a repeat. Has anyone been given a broad spectrum antibiotic before transfer? I’ve read about

Advice please - Preparation for first endo appointment
Hi everyone, I have my first endocrinology appointment through the NHS on the 1st Nov; I only just started on 50mcgs levothyroxine 8 weeks ago and thought that bloods should be checked every 6-8 weeks but I just got back from the g.p as I booked an appointment to request ft4, ft3, TPOA, TSH, ferritin

Boron, sex hormones and osteoporosis
I have been supplementing with Boron following some research on studies of how Boron affects sex hormones. My level of free testosterone was 234pmol when normal range is 225-725. SHBG is a related hormone that blocks how much testosterone is ‘free’ to be used. My level of this was 100nmol, with normal

Undiagnosed liver disease
Hello! My name is Svetlana. I have been sick already for 7 month. It all started in April. I had pain in my upper right abdomen, felt extreme weakness, my hand started to shake. Since that time I started to lose weight, I lost 8 kg over 2 months, hair started to fall, and I felt constant fatigue. My

Very sore breasts!
Hi folks I’m on cd22 of a natural cycle, I think I ovulated around cd14. My breasts have been getting bigger, more solid and more sore every day since cd15. This is really unusual for me, I sometimes get sore breasts about 7 days before AF’s due just for a couple days. My cycles tend to be 28-31 days

Diet for Endometriosis
I have recently started to be more aware of what I am eating since having endo diagnosed, as the pain and bloating I can get from eating the wrong foods can have such an impact on how I feel. For example, I have heard soya is bad as it encourages estrogen. Can anyone please share some tips on what

Estrogen for BRCA positive patients
I'm seeing a lot of mixed recommendations on this topic. I was thinking of using estrogen patches for my occasional heating up and hot flashes. My MO recommended venlafaxine 37mg (not very effective for me)

Bio Identical Progesterone Cream: Week 3
Hi all, I've written a lot more about what I'm doing and why I've started this on the week 1 post and there's more about my background in my bio. That's me into week 3 now. It's been tough. I really haven't experienced the improvement that I was hoping for. Instead, I've had an increase in my symptoms

Hormone therapy and endo-brain
I have been on Ibrance with Letrozole for about 18 months. Letrozole has now been switched to Faslodex. I had noticed recently that I was having trouble finding a word I wanted to say. Like making a phone call and then a word I needed, like “refill a prescription “, would not come into my mind. This

Newly Diagnosed
Hi guys, I suspected I had endo since being a teenager (now 29) but my symptoms were never bad enough for me to really investigate, and there wasn’t enough information available! After suffering with much worse symptoms for over a year (since coming off the combined pill), going back and forth to doctors

Hysterectomy, Endometriosis and Estrogen
Has anyone ever had a total hysterectomy due to endometriosis and then had the enod return about a year after their hysterectomy?? Also, has anyone had low estrogen levels due to the hysterectomy but still had the endo grow back?? My issue began with a UTI that I got 10 mths following my TOTAL supracervical

Have a question regarding bladder health. Had a total hysterectomy. Have no ovaries, no uterus, etc. I use the .5 estradiol patch. I am only 44 and was told I need alot more estrogen. My level was 70. I developed a UTI (only the second one in my whole life) and it's taken me months to get rid of it
