Continuous pill - 4 day break?
Hi everyone I’ve been on a low oestrogen pill for 5 packets now back to back without a break as advised by my doctor to try and make me bleed less and control my symptoms. Luckily I’ve been pretty lucky but last night I was 2 hours late in taking my pill and this morning I’ve got a proper period and

Binding of iodinated contrast media (ICM) and their transformation products with hormone receptors: Are ICM the new EDCs?
We have seen many posts - and responses - regarding iodinated contrast media (ICM) and their effects on the subjects. This interesting abstract takes the view from what happens afterwards. I can't see an obvious reason that the testing approach wouldn't also apply to the subject given ICM. Thereby helping

No down regulation with DE cycle
Has anyone that has been through a DE cycle not been down regulated? The clinic is recommending that I go on BCP or straight into Progynova estrogen tablets. I’m not used to this and wanted to hear other people’s experiences?

Hyperparathyroidism??
My T-scores are -2.8. I also have severe erosive osteo-arthritis. My question: how can I test that one of my parathyroid glands is (or is not) overactive (hyperparathyroidism) and therefore makin too much PTH hormone which then causes our bones to release calcium constantly into the blood stream. Fed up of hormonal contraceptives
I don’t know what to do. I’ve been trying different ones for the best part of 5 years and can’t find one to suit! I want to come off of hormonal contraceptives altogether but my GPs have always put me back on something. Should I go back to the GP? I’ve written below all that I’ve tried.... I can’t

What happened to my body?
Hi, I posted 5 days ago about using ovulation kit. I had a second failed IVF cycle in June. Before I start another one, I still want to try to conceive so I bought the clearblue ovulation test kit. My hormones profile has always been good. I had estrogen surge 5 days ago and it keeps showing high

Survived right side breast cancer, what are the chances of getting it on the left side?
I have survived 100% Estrogen positive twice over the years, the last time was 2016 I had complete mastectomy on my right breast, chemo and am currently taking tamoxifen. When diagnosed a 2nd time I asked to have a double mastectomy however I was told that they would not remove a healthy breast and that

My experience.. can anyone help?
This is my first post and I’m a little nervous as I’ve never really done this kind of thing of talking with strangers. I’ve had endo since I was young, I’m waiting for my 3rd surgery. This time seems so different to the other times. So apologies in advance for the long post but this is what’s happened

Anyone on BAT or intermittent with estrogen patches?
Thinking of estrogen patches as an alternative to ADT, some here report success with less side effects. But BAT seems to work better if done from beginning. I know Patrick pjoshea13 is doing BAT with DES. But not sure how to get access to DES from here and patches seems to have less issues with CVD.

IS LUPRON AS EFFECTIVE AS OOPHERECTOMY ?
IS LUPRON AS EFFECTIVE AS OOPHERECTOMY IN LOWERING ESTROGEN? GNRH ANALOGUES ARE SYNTHETIC DECAPEPTIDES , SO WONDERING IF IT'S AS EFFECTIVE AS OOPHERECTOMY IN LOWERING TESTOSTERONE , ANDROSTENEDIONE AND ESTROGEN ? ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED

Bleeding during continuous pull taking
Hi I’m still awaiting a gynae appointment and my GP has taken the approach of putting me on the low estrogen pill continuously to keep my symptoms at bay. I have to admit the first few months were great, I had very few symptoms and no periods but I must be on my 5th consecutive packet now and I’m getting

Update of second round of IVF ❤️
Thought I would give a little update of our next round... So we have been on treatment for 3 weeks, I have been taking progynova pills, plus oestrogen patches, which I have been placing on my thighs.. they are sticky little buggers! Feels like a waxing strip when I have to remove it and use a new one
