How long did it take for your HRT estrogen patch to take away your hot flashes?
I have been taking the estrogen patch for about 2 and a half weeks now-(generic Estradiol 0.075mg) and I have not gotten any relief in my hot flashes....My story is more complicated in that I am making absolutely NO estrogen due to years of anorexia making my pituitary gland not produce estrogen. So

Marching on to 5th transfer!
As I post and reply quite a lot on here I just thought I’d share where I’m at. After 4th failed transfer - 3 BFN and 1 chemical, I now have a date for transfer 5. Not sure exactly what protocol I’m on cause I’m rubbish at asking questions and just eagerly do whatever the clinic says 😂🙈 Just curious

Xeloda and Zoladex?
Hi everyone, hoping someone can help clear this up for me. Last week I shifted to Xeloda from Piqray. I asked my oncologist about whether I continue with monthly shots of Zoladex, which are administered by my GP, and she seemed a bit unsure, then said no. I left the hospital without much confidence and

How big are AA tablets
I am considering trying weekly alendronic acid tablets but am worried they will be too big for me to swallow since I have dysphagia (difficulty swallowing). Please, what shape and how long/wide are the tablets people take? Note that there are good reasons why I should not have infusions. Meds involving

How long does it take for hot flashes to go away after being on HRT( estrogen patch)?
I was wondering if people could tell me how long it takes for HRT( the estrogen patch)to kick in and take away your hot flashes? I've only been on it 13 days and can't get any relief from the hot flashes and I'm really worried. Is this normal for it to take this long? How long does it take to kick

Going Private
I can't wait any longer so I've decided to go private and I've booked to see a consultant next week. I can't get my head around the fact I can see the same consultant I have to wait a year for on the NHS next week if I pay £200. I'm 50, currently on continuous provera and estrogen and I'm bleeding heavily

Treatment for perimenopausal symptoms and PBC
Hi, A year ago I had my first bout of very strange and severe anxiety and depression linked to perimenopause. I am 48. A blood test showed my oestrogen level had significantly dropped. After a couple of months I seemed to re-stabilise and didn’t need HRT. I had been taking a supplement, recommended by

Awaiting scan
Hi, I had a GP appointment Thursday and have been referred for an emergency ultra sound and blood test. I'm feeling really anxious. I thought I had peri menopause symptons for months. I'm on estrogen only HRT as have the coil ( which is due to be replaced). I can only describe my symptons as constant

Oestrogen medication
Hi all After my failed fresh transfer recently, I’ve been told I can begin prep for the frozen one. I’ve been prescribed Progynova from my clinic but I can’t get it where I am so they’ve said I can use a substitute that my local pharmacy does have called Premarin. Has anyone used Premarin and had success

update on UTI
Those of you who have been following my saga of urinary sepsis. I am ready for it now and had two episodes of infection that I jumped on with the emergency antibiotics. I asked for a replacement however another GP telephoned me and suggested I tried vaginal tablets and prescribed Vagifem 10 micrograms

ERA protocol - what meds to include
Hey ladies, Last month I did an endometrial biopsy in order to see if the uterine cells look as they should, and they do! Which would mean that the endometritis is gone, at least judging by how the endometrium looks like under a microscope. This month we are doing the Endometrio test (Era, Emma, Alice
