Best diet and supplementation guide for hypothyroidism?
Is there a really simple list of vitamins (and best times of day to take them) and a list of foods to avoid when starting out of levothyroxine? I have such brain fog that I'm struggling to compile a plan for myself. I really need to lose the weight I've recently piled on too. Also I have ADHD so I struggle

Simethicone
Been having problems due to Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Whilst it’s improved a little bit in the last few days I’m finding that trapped gas first thing when waking is an issue. I was looking at Simethicone and whether that or Deflatine would help me. I’ve got afib and on regular medication (flec and bisoprolol

Hello, really hoping someone has some advice as I’m at the end of my tether! My son is 5, he has struggled with constipation since he was 6 months old. He went onto Movicol (just x1 sachet a day) which was working fine to keep his stools soft and passable however when he began potty training at 3y/o

Finally diagnosed after twenty years!
I have finally got a diagnosis of IBS after at least twenty years of endoscopies, colonoscopies, scans, investigations, etc, etc. Strangely I feel much better even though they say it's a lifelong condition with no cure. My problem today is that it's after half past six in the evening, I have had one

Raised Liver Markers - Octasa/ Mesalamine?
I started taking Octasa for Crohns in October 23. Just had blood tests (for another issue) and dr called to say that my liver enzyme markers were raised (ALT 255, AST 99, ALP 239, GT 334.. all substantially above the top end of normal) and they want to do an ultrasound to check my liver. The only difference

QoL: Moonrise at a liminal place No. 2
I painted three versions of this mixed media work, being drawn repeatedly to the reference photograph. It is a place called Cwmtudu (pronounced Coom-ti-di to my American and, I imagine, most of my English friends here), and here we are looking down jnto the valley from a rocky outcrop on some clifftops

Familial Polycythemia
Hi,I wondered if anyone could advise on what care we should be getting for familial polycythemia? my 2 children (age 24 & 27) and I were tested at Guys a few years ago for the Jak2 gene, it was negative & we were discharged. Our blood tests always show a red cell count around 5.6, Haemoglobin 160
