Hello everyoneJust thought I'd pop in to show you this special cutie foal born at Whipsnade Zoo. He's a breed that is classed as extinct in the wild and Whipsnade is involved with re-introducing them to Mongolia.

What wonderful work!.

Hope your all as well as possible. Aren't we having a chilly spring?.

TAKE CARE

MistyXx

P.s, here's another update, I've had it confirmed that my gallbladder was very inflamed so no wonder biliary pain was constant. Also, my bile ducts are working properly luckily , so because i'm still getting some pain after eating , my surgeon has suggested a repeat gastroscopy to check duodenom as that inflammation could have worsened!!. No date yet for foot op. More updates to follow. Thanx so much for all your support. Xx

Thanx so much cecily for your lovely wishes. It is disappointing but hopefully it will lead to better help. We always have hope don't we and know when we've got to do something !. Good luck for gyne appt. Is it a first one?. 🤞it is helpful and the consultant nice. Keep us posted. Xx

Bless you lovely. I truly hope things improve for you.

I was under Gynaecology from my 11th Birthday until my 40th Birthday so believe me it’s a place I am not looking forward to going but my oelvic pain and genital sores are getting me down. My Rheumy strongly advised me to get a second opinion on the Pudendal Neuralgia diagnosis. The Consultant is a Urogynaecologist so she can help with the continence issues too hopefully . She also has a private clinic where I saw the private Pain Consultant who diagnosed me and was intending to do nerve blockers so with any luck I can get treatment on the NHS 🙏🏻 xxx

Oh cecily lovely that's an awful long time of suffering!. 🤞that going to this urogynae consultant will be better for you. Hopefully, she will diagnose and be willing to help and does it all with a much nicer manner than the Pain Consultant you saw!. Will keep my 🤞for you, lots of 🍀Xx

They are a real cutie! These zoos and wildlife parks do a great job with rare breeds.

I’m sorry that you are still in pain. Hopefully you r repeat gastroscopy will give some answers which lead to treatment. Hopefully you will get news on your foot op soon too. Xx 🐴 🐎

Thanx so much ge for your lovely reply. Glad you liked the foal cutie. Yes, these wildlife parks and zoos do some great conservation work don't they?. How are you?. I do hope your chest infection and breathing have improved and your feeling better. You've had a tough winter healthwise.

It is disappointing to still have some pain adter eating. Luckily, its not as bad as the biliary pain. Hopefully, 🤞, the gastroscopy will provide the answers.

Hope you have a better week. Xx🐎💕🐎

I’m not doing too badly Misty, thank you for asking. Still getting chest pain and breathless but have been told ‘nothing serious’ and I just have to live with it for now. Should have a rheumatology appointment in the next couple of months so hopefully I do and it’s not delayed. Xx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toGloomyEeyore

I'm glad you've improved ge but its not right to be told to live with chest pain and breathlessness!. Are they putting it down to long covid?. I am very sorry because it must impact your life a great deal now!. If it suddenly worsens you must go to A&E!. I'm still waiting for a rheumy appt from Jan as they're always behind . I hope yours isn't delayed too badly. Will keep my 🤞for you. Take care. Xx

Long COVID seems to get blamed for everything these days. I would certainly go back to my GP or A&E if it gets really bad. Hope you get your rheumy appointment soon. Xx

Love the horse and foal🥰 it awful when some animals are virtually extinct ☹️

Sorry you are still having pain, I hope it’s your system adjusting to the op and you won’t need any further ops , investigations.

You have enough pain to put up with without that .

Take care and 🤞for foot op date xxx❤️🤗🥰

So cute! Thank you for lifting our spirits. You have gone through so much with a long period of pain. Amazing how you hang in there. That super surgeon of yours is getting you on your way, though.

hi Misty what a little cutie ❤️

Can I ask what you take for your tummy pain ? I take tramodol for my pain and it’s keeping me out of hospital at the moment. I’ve got my consultant on 23rd so not too long to wait now so hopefully they have a plan for me.

Really sorry you haven’t had an appointment for your foot op. Sending lots of love 💞

So glad you've popped up svfarmer as i've been thinking of you. My gallbladder was very inflamed so no wonder so painful. I've been recommended to take tramodol so i'm pleased its helping you to keep out of hospital. I'm taking buscopan which isn't giving a lot of help for the painful rightsided spasms i'm getting. So sorry you've been suffering so much too.

Huge luck for the 23rd. Do hope they come up with a good treatment plan for you. Hope your condition isn't too rare. Do keep me posted. Big hug. Xx💕🤞💕🐎💕

thanks for asking Misty, so kind to remember. Well I saw another consultant , one that I’ve never seen before , she knew nothing of my sclerosing mesenteritis and said she needs to read up on it so still no treatment for it but she has put me on a course of steriods to bring all my inflammation down, mostly my knees and hands - I had loads of blood taken in the view that I can start the infusion - she said to wait for a phone call from her, so feeling slightly deflated with it all . How’s things with you ? Xx

I'm very sorry svfarmer you have this very rare condition. I did look it up and amazing your the 201st patient to now have it. Its hard being so rare as doctor's don't know how to treat it!!. All we want and need is relief so i do understand your deflation!. Its hard also not seeing the same consultant twice but i'm glad this new one is willing to treat you. 🤞the course of steroids help your joints and this condition. Hope you heard from her.

I was feeling very demoralised too, back waiting to hear about foot op and gastroscopy and getting nothing. I heard from Rheumatology about my osteoporosis treatment, asked about my general Rheumy appt as it was overdue and by the aft i had a telephone appt with a rheumy dr. All very thorough as my joints are painful too and i've suddenly developed muscle pain!. She's given me a nurses appt on tuesday to discuss if mtx ccan increase. I'm to take photos of joints and try ibuprofen in the meantime.

Keeping 🤞you feel better soon svfarmer. Do hope Bea and Mira are looking after you. Have a lovely weekend. Big hug. Xx

Well I’m back in hospital Misty with same as before, feeling quite fed up with it all now, probably have to stay in for a week and missing my 2 furry girls already.

Seems your having the run around too, really hope the increase of methotrexate works for you, I had metho increased and it worked for a few years but now it’s just not working any more - big hugs to you xxx

misty14 in reply tosvfarmer

Oh svfarmer i'm so sorry your back in hospital. What a dreadful time your having!. They're going to have to treat you properly now , as its awful keep having to be in and out of hospital. I'll keep everything crossed your not there long. 🤞. Our bodies get used to the meds and they become ineffective. Hope they find a good treatment for you. I'll let you know what Rheumatology decide on tuesday.

Sending a HUGE HUG and lots of healing thoughtwaves. Xx💕💐💕🤞

I hope svfarmer your being treated and your starting to feel better. I do hope they've thought of a treatment plan for you!. Keeping 🤞for you. I saw the very nice Rheumy nurse today who wanted CRP bloods and xrays of my hands and feet which i also did. They're not sure if its a flare of ctd or i'm developing OA which isn't surprising. Ibuprofen is helping so its definitely inflammatory!. When she has all the results she'll speak to rheumy consultant and let me know what they've decided. My guess is it will be OA and do nothing. Glad i can have the shingles vaccine.

Sending lots of healing thoughtwaves and hope you can go home soon. Big hug. Xx
