TRIMBOW HELP
Hello everyone , I need advice from those who use trimbow; I have COPD and have been living with only one lung for 5 years, I have never used bronchodilators but I have always relied on exercises, a good diet and of course no smoking or alcohol. I must say that I did very well, especially because

AAV-GAD Gene Therapy
Did anyone hear of AAV-GAD gene therapy? I have a chance to get into a phase 1/2 trial, but information is somewhat limited. The original developing company went bankrupt, and a new company bought the rights to the therapy. The trails are being held at reputable sites like Yale, Columbia , and Cornell

Experience, thus far with Lupron and Abiraterone
I am 78 years old. I was diagnosed in May 2022 with PCa after my PSA was measured at 23.79. I have no other health issues. Following the determination that PCa was still within the prostrate capsule and had not spread to any other organ, I was placed on Lupron (6 monthly IM injections for 2 years). Clinically

Attended for my annual supplementary oxygen therapy review today and wahooooo, the prescription doesn't need to be increased! This is first time it hasn't needed to be increased year on year for the last 7 years. Very chuffed. A great Christmas gift.....Long may it last.

Cold is good for you
Radio 4 currently has a series by Dr Michael Mosley, Cold Therapy. The third episode deals with exercising in the cold. One of his conclusions is that people who run reasonable distances for fun (as opposed to marathons, ultra runners, professionals) have their best performance at around 10-11C. Well

happy Saturday!
I brought home my dog domino following acl surgery and am overwhelmed about his rehab routine. Massage, ice, meds, trips to vet daily for laser therapy, etc. for at least 8 weeks. Has anyone else been through this and have any coping skills to suggest?

Parkinson's Nurse update
Hi all, thank you for all your previous posts, they were most helpful. Since then we have had a few medical professionals visit. The Parkinsons Nurse is coming to see my father-in-law tomorrow. Is there any questions we need to be asking? The OT and Physio visited yesterday and recommended a new commode

recurrence after lobectomy
Hello, I am 53 and live in the UK and I stop smoking in my late 20’. I had a lobectomy of my right lower lobe in April 2022 to remove a minimally invasive adenocarcinoma staged pT1 N0, M0, PL0, R0 (found by complete accident on an abdomen CT scan.) I begged for adjuvant therapy after the operation

Pain everywhere.
I've been 10+ yrs searching for answers. I had some bladder problems in 2013. Doctors did surgery. I almost died. Apparently they told me my blood vessels looked funny. They didn't know if they "knicked " me or what but I lost 8 pints of blood very quickly. They barely got me transfusion in time. I chalked
