Got a group meeting today and i'm nervous because I feel that people can pick up on my body language and read into it and notice, i'm nervous. Also afraid that I wont be able to stop observing the people around me and what they're doing and that will be noticed as well. I'd like some advice please. If you've already answered my question (for your sake), dont respond to my post. i'm looking for new people to respond or old people who dont mind responding again.

I'm an old person and I would say that it is very usual for people to be nervous in a group lke that. If you are observing people all the time, that is something you might be able to pick up on. There is no harm in observing people; it shows you take an interest in them; there's nothing wrong in that and you might make some friends because of it. Are you going to be able to bring up these issues in the group?

I'm a people observer and always look around to see what others are doing. I find people watching interesting you know. Try a just breathe through it and not to be so nervous. Wishing you peace and well-being.
